Using the Crop tool to expand the size of the image (in order to add a border) is a great idea, but it seems to be an undocumented feature of Affinity Photo that you can do this. The Affinity Photo Help's discussion of the Crop tool only discusses how to use it to remove parts of an image.

Thanks for the video. Per my recent email - for some reason I am not getting the same sky replacement results by adding the sky layer as a child to MRM2. If I add the Sky image as a child to MMR1. it seems to work. And I have to apply the Lens Filter and Brightness/Contrast layers to MRM2 as well. By the way, I am using an M2 Mac Mini running macOS 14.3.1. James

After you have the video playing, you can manually zoom into the video to make it larger.

This is really helpful. Thank you. Would you consider adding an advanced tutorial with some alternative styles to the picture frame? For example, a frame with rounded edges? Or with a very thin frame that is placed just inside the image?
