ARCHITECTURE TRENDS in 2025 : 1. Biophilic Design : Living with Nature - There has never been a more pressing need to restore our connection to nature, and biophilic design provides a method to bring the outside in. It's a concept that emphasizes sustainability, well-being, and a harmonious coexistence of architecture and nature rather than just a fad. 2. Smart Home Integration - As technology advances, incorporating it into home design has grown in popularity and is now a must for anyone looking to construct a new house. Smart homes are here and thriving; they are no longer a sci-fi fantasy. 3. Incorporating Natural Light - Natural light has always been a popular element in house design, but in the coming year, its thoughtful incorporation is anticipated to gain even more traction. Full-length floor-to-ceiling glass doors, open staircases, and splash-back windows-all of which let more natural light into the house-should be given more attention. 4. Using Eco-Friendly Style - Bamboo, repurposed wood, and recycled and upcycled materials provide sustainability and distinctive character. Modern, ethical building techniques are reflected in innovations like eco-friendly insulation and low-impact concrete. These decisions contribute to the creation of environmentally friendly homes that combine style and function. 5. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) Integration - By 2025, AI integration will permeate project workflow management, resulting in safer, more intelligent, and more economical building procedures. Are you ready for upcoming trends?.

The manholes in Chandigarh have a history that begins in the 1950s, when the city was being created as the first planned modern metropolis in India. Le Corbusier and his team's imaginative design embraced modernist urban planning concepts. The manholes were created during this period as part of Chandigarh’s comprehensive infrastructure, reflecting the meticulous planning that went into every aspect of the city. The manhole covers' design, engraved with Chandigarh's master plan, references the city's grid-based layout. Divided into sectors that serve as independent neighborhoods, this layout was a first for India's urban planning. In addition to representing the city's ordered structure, the manholes are useful components of the underground utility and drainage systems.

    1. The premade symbols or building blocks of the furniture layout are known as furniture templates. They may be used swiftly to create furniture plans and are available in a variety of scales. By using these, the drawing becomes clearer and easier to understand. 2. Mood boards are tools that establish the aesthetic direction of a design project by combining materials, colors, textures, and images. Digital platforms such as Canva, Miro, and Pinterest are excellent for making mood boards. They serve as a guide during the design process and help in clearly conveying ideas to clients or team members. 3. A precise and effective method for producing intricate architectural model components is laser cutting. Students can create complex designs, precise cuts, and clean edges with laser cutting services that are challenging to accomplish by hand. This technique drastically cuts down on the amount of time and effort required. For models that need to look professional for competitions or client presentations, laser cutting is very helpful. 4. Learning keyboard shortcuts in software like AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp can significantly speed up tasks such as drafting, editing, and navigating through designs. For example, shortcuts for copy, paste, mirror, or scale reduce repetitive clicks and streamline workflow. Using templates for floor plans, elevations, or material libraries in these tools saves time and ensures consistency across projects. Additionally, creating custom blocks or families for frequently used design elements like furniture or fixtures minimizes redundant work. 5. Tracing paper is a useful tool for testing design revisions and improving designs. It lets you experiment with variants without changing the original drawing by superimposing a fresh sheet on top of the original. This technique is ideal for layering features like textures and shading, experimenting with various design aspects, and fine-tuning proportions. Tracing paper saves time and encourages creativity by keeping the workflow neat. Used any above mentioned hacks?

    1. Two-Story Detached House, Beckum, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany - With 80 square meters of living space each floor, the two-story single-family home offers a total living area of 160 m³. After 100 hours of 3D printing over ten months, the property was manufactured using a 3D construction printer called "BOD2," which is said to be the fastest on the market and can print a 1 square meter double-skin wall in less than five minutes at a speed of 2.2 mph (1 m/s). 2. 3D-Printed Office Building, Dubai, United Arab Emirates - The building was printed using a 3D printer that was 20 feet high, 120 feet long, and 40 feet wide. The printer uses a robotic arm that is automated to carry out the printing operation. A unique cement combination and a set of building materials created and manufactured in the US and the UAE were used to construct the 3D-printed office. Innovative elements, such window shades that provide protection from harsh sunshine and keep the building cool, have been implemented in the office building to save energy use. 3. Tecla, Italy, Mario Cucinella Architects and WASP - Built from 350 stacked layers of 3D-printed clay, the house comprises two interconnected dome-shaped volumes with a ribbed exterior wall. It was printed in Massa Lombarda, Italy. In addition to offering structural stability, the clay's undulating layers serve as a heat barrier. 4. Project Milestone, The Netherlands, Eindhoven University of Technology - It was built by printing layers of stacked concrete to create 24 separate components, and its outside walls are curved and inclined. After being printed at a nearby location, these parts were delivered to the plot to be put together, secured to a foundation, and equipped with doors, windows, and a roof. 5. East 17th Street Residences, US, ICON - The ground-floor walls of the four residences were constructed utilizing ICON's Vulcan building technique, which layers Lavacrete, a Portland cement-based substance, into striated surfaces using a robotic armature. It took five to seven days to print each house. Large porches have red cedar undersides, and the timber-framed upper floors and roofs are covered in black standing-seam metal.

    1. Copenhagen, Denmark - Despite being a busy city, Copenhagen's harbors are so clean that residents swim in them every summer. With only 4% of solid waste ending up in the city's landfills and 74% of Copenhagen's electricity coming from sustainable sources, the city has some of the most aggressive sustainability policies in the world. In just another year, Copenhagen hopes to become the world's first carbon-neutral capital city 2. Oslo, Norway - Despite having a population of over 600,000, Oslo is surrounded by unspoiled natural areas, such as forests and fjords, which it actively preserves through green laws. In addition to the more than 5,000 electric vehicle charging points located throughout the city, public buses are increasingly being powered by biofuels and electricity. The restaurant industry is committed to supporting the eco-eating movement, and a staggering 94% of the city's hotels are eco-certified. 3. Stockholm, Sweden - By 2040, the city council wants the Swedish capital to be entirely fossil fuel-free. The firm that manages the city's airports, Swedevia, was the first airport management globally to completely eliminate fossil fuels from all of its fully owned activities. 4.
