CRG Navara NP300 Throttle pipe Install
The 2015 to current Nissan Navara NP300 twin turbo and single turbo have a weak link in their plastic pipe that connects the intercooler piping to the throttle body.
The plastic pipe has a bracket that is known to snap off leaving a huge hole in the pipe but even more so the in take air temperature sensor mounting port is a plastic part glued to the plastic pipe, this means with the constant high engine bay heat levels, age and boost pressure the sensor port can come away from pipe again leaving a gapping hole.
Both failures create a huge boost leak, enough to not be able to drive the car as it will be in limp mode and running rich fuel levels.
This is very likely to clog up the exhaust (DPF) diesel particulate filter which is a problem on its own.

NP300s are renowned for leaking oil from the factory pipe that run from the top[ of their turbo charger towards the intercooler. The seals from factory are a very loose fitting blade type seal that does not take long from new to leak pretty badly. So why do the factory pipes leak oil? Is it blow by from the crank case ventilation building up or is there an oil leak in the turbos?
Just fitted one of these, thanks for the excellent instructions. Had a bit of a fight refitting the lower connection, got there eventually after lots of wiggling/twisting/cursing.

I’m in the uk, I’ve heard that the standard pipe can get hot and pop the sensor out, is this correct and if so what are the symptoms? If anyone can help I’d appreciate it 👍

Off topic question I have 2022 Navara np300 I’m in Sydney 3 inch dpf back exhaust Plazma man intercooler kit Aem panel air filter Nissan genuine snorkel Crg hot pipe Crg throttle pipe Power on mainline dyno here in Sydney 140kw at the wheels 660nm at the wheels If I got you to make me a full 3inch or 3.5inch turbo back exhaust what ever I think is better with only a high flow cat no dpf Firstly will I make a lot more power worth doing ? Secondly Will u need my car or can u make it and send it down with out having my car there ?
