I love all these stories of faith. God gave that gift to us. I still cry when I think about Toby. It is like he let us be part of his life and who wouldn’t want to be part of this man’s life. Bless his family for sharing him with us. I thought I was done crying but at least today, I smile big before I start crying. Toby is beyond an American treasure, he is America.

My dad passed away from Cancer back on November 10th 2022. I’m still recovering from his loss, and I’m still not even sure that I came to full acceptance yet. My dad was my best friend and a wonderful dad that I would NEVER even think of replacing. He was my guidance, and my teacher. He was also my sidekick. Without him here, I feel so lost in this big old world. RIP dad, and fly high! Till the time I see you again!! 🙏🏻🩵

When I was in my early 40's, I had to have two brain surgeries, craniotomies without knowing the outcome. They were scheduled. The weeks before I had a jeep and for those weeks before, I took the tops off, let my long blonde hair blow in the wind through the mountains in East Tennessee I lived, listening to this song full blast. We'll I pulled through and everytime I hear this song now, it has a special meaning to me. Thanks Tim, you truly have to live like you are dying. A whole new perspective. God Bless.....❤

This is a song about reflecting on a past that went too fast and a future that’s ending too soon. Hopeful? Maybe. Sentimental? Definitely. But not cheerful.

I was diagnosed with Glioblastoma brain cancer 2 months after my 55th birthday this past August 2023. Both Toby and Tim were one of the first country artists I would see and a few times . Strange thing is my brother brought up a picture of me in 2009 next to Tim’s tour poster “live like you were dying” Means more to me now than ever !!😢❤
