This is a unique combination of modern and our traditional music. In ancient days Story Telling and Expressing Of Inner Feelings of the people were done through Pal Kaviya - Goyam Kaviya - Jana Kaviya - Karaththa Kaviya - Rukada -Sokari Natyaya -koolama and so on. If we can combine those our traditional and ancient art with the modern music with its digital technology we have a great chance to bring them up to the international level creating and universal market for them. Upula Madushanka has initiated this endeavour by composing such attractive music video of Sokamaalaya. He is a genius who endowed the music talent from his late father - Maestro PV Nandasiri - Thabla Nipun - who was an significant figure in the industry of classic music in 70ees and 80 ees. Thabla Nipun Upula Madushanka is an Architect by profession. He mastered both western and oriental music and he has obviously put the best of his creative talents on forming this unique video. I am sure this will be corner stone of a great journey ahead !!!

Good classical traditional puppets brought in to life by the artist. His efforts to preserve the essence of the traditional heritage is commendable. We usually funny ones during festivals some with cheap jokes too. This is an excellent effort. Wish you luck.
