I throw them in the laundry with a couple of old towels.Cold water. Don't put them in the dryer, they will shrink.

I have two ferns that according to the internet guidance on them i should be watering the same amount... The one in the bathroom (damp, north facing) dries out in a couple days, the one in the office (hot, sunny, south facing) only needs watering once or twice a month. Plants are weird and schedules are fake.
