    Is there no power steering? Are they hard to drive without power steering?

      They change oil and filter, and adjust the valves. I did this myself, you bascically have to remove seat, gas tank and computer to get to the valves, Basically strip it down to the frame to gain access to the valves.

    I do all the work on my Foretrax , learned everything from UA-cam. For your handle bars, you simply need to realignment on the front end. I use string method…. Put a piece of cardboard under your front wheels so they turn easy. Wrap a string around your atv at center of wheel-around the the whole atv, turn your handle bars until the are straight. You will notice that the front wheels will then be cock eyed… then you will have to adjust your front tie rod ends so your wheel align properly. You can adjust them to whatever your manual specs say, toe in or toe out. The string is so you can stand in front of your atv and visually see if is toe in or out. Just go on UA-cam, easy fix if you don’t mind rolling up your sleeves for an hour.

      Is there not much difference in irs vs sra?

    • @jameshanna8762
      @jameshanna8762 8 місяців тому

      @@_E.S.C._ There is a lot of difference. The IRS tends to lean more in corners and on traversing slopes, but is a far more cushy ride, especially in rough terrain. The solid rear axle is superior for stability and hauling a trailer/plow/etc, as the weight is resting directly on the axle/wheels instead of the suspension. If you tow on the IRS model, all the weight is on the suspension.

    Hello just have a question do you like the foot shift models just wondering why you didn't decide to go with the Rubicon with independent suspension and you can get a model that is foot shift or I personally would have went with the Rubicon independent suspension in the back gives you better ground clearance and it is less maintenance can you get a disc break in the back instead of drum but that definitely is a beautiful bike you have

    • @trailspeed7037
      @trailspeed7037 Рік тому

      Yea I like the footshift models, feels more satisfying to drive and it’s just simpler. The rubicon has more moving parts and is just outright more expensive. It’s a lot harder to find a footshift rubicon as well so those are my reasons. I’d say price is the main reason but the ride quality and ground clearance isn’t enough to justify the extra cost .

    • @truthnow902
      @truthnow902 Рік тому

      @@trailspeed7037 okay definitely you can definitely get them brand new if you order them but I do agree with you they are more expensive some people don't mind paying the extra some people don't want to but definitely the foreman is a very good bike I had a 2007 Foreman electric shift I loved it also had a 2006 Honda Foreman foot shift I like that one too but they're all good quality strong bikes you don't go wrong with any Honda you buy

      I have had several honda foreman 4X4 with the straight rear axle. And never had any issues or maintenance issues. I currently have a 2023 honda foreman 520 foot shift transmission and no power steering. I personally think it's an all-around great ATV for the money and bulletproof. I am 59 years old now and still enjoy going four wheeling. I looked at the honda rubicon with power steering and electric shift transmission. And to me, the msrp of $12,000 for a rubicon with independent suspension and power steering and electric shift transmission just wasn't worth the money . The rubicon is much heavier and, in my opinion, just isn't any better than the foreman with a straight axle.
