MLM Exposé: The Dark Side of the Dream
MLM Exposé: The Dark Side of the Dream
It begins innocently-a friend reaches out with a “great business opportunity.” You’re invited to a seminar, where a charismatic speaker promises more than just money. It’s about becoming an entrepreneur with “unlimited earning potential.” But there’s a catch: the true profit lies not in selling products but in recruiting others.
In Multi-Level Marketing (MLM), you’re both a customer and a recruiter. When you bring in others, you earn a percentage of their sales, creating a “downline.” On paper, it looks promising, but in reality, most people earn little to no profit. At just 13 levels deep, the total recruits would outnumber the U.S. population. For those at the bottom, income is rare; most profits flow upward.
MLMs claim selling products distinguishes them from pyramid schemes, but the focus is on selling the opportunity. Success stories, though rare, keep people invested, and seminars foster community. Yet, studies show that around 75% of MLM participants lose money, with only a tiny fraction earning significant income.
Companies like Amway and Herbalife tout success, but stats reveal otherwise: in 2023, Amway’s average participant earned just $841 a year. This promise of financial freedom benefits only a select few, yet MLMs continue to sell dreams with a thin line between opportunity and exploitation.
MLMs operate legally but often push ethical boundaries. They sell hope-a vision of success few attain. And as long as that hope exists, people will keep chasing a dream that’s, for most, simply unattainable.

His genius in the last 10-15 years can not be overstated
I telephat
Are we not gonna talk avout Ryan seated at eminem old house
He musta known his acting career isn’t going to make him a lot of money so he invested in whatever he could afford. He also made sure to befriend people in the acting career used them to get his celebrity status higher True business man unfortunately he has to pay 20/50% Tax so he may not be a billionaire but he’s wealthy and made ongoing income for life
👍 Really well done video, thank you. Ryan does seem to pour himself into all of his endeavours, and appears to be a really good man, not just a success. We've all watched his personal happiness grow, and his family flourish. I've followed Wrexham's journey, and only wish Ryan, Rob, the team, and the entire Wrexham community continued success.
I think most people would say the same thing I'm about to. "Yay! if he can do it anyone can! Except me... I'm not all that charismatic. I'm happy for him though"
His resume says "part time actor"
Love it 🎉🎉🎉a real hero and successful leader
Augh! Stop dissing Green Lantern! I love Green Lantern. It is a freaking great movie. (Y'all just a bunch of a-holes Stop it!)
Crypto-scam of Ryan Reynolds? no mention about that?
Is that why Mint 5G service performance went down hill? Couldn't even browse the web inside a Costco to search for product reviews recently.
Hmmm, great at marketing, but Jobs was more than a marketeer.
Ryan Reynolds is way too nice to be Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs was a D***
3:15 That's not Dr. Dre, guys. TF
This is the most generic white guy ever
Give them the sweet life for double power
This entire premise is insane, let’s compare the Rock to Musk, no no, let’s compare Mark Wahlberg to Nikola Tesla.. FKN INSANE 😂🤡
why is this video laggy??? it is a great video but y laggy bro??
Is he not paying taxes and child support?
this video will be 16 years old in no time - crazy.
Deadpool for President lololol
That thumbnail scared the fuck out of me
lol.. I am confident the graphic for Dr. Dre was pretty wrong. but great video otherwise.
No I'm Steve Jobs
i hate the new editing
its so generic
White lives matter was not violent or bad
15 minutes of pure peak, but only 300+ likes???
this is how I would love to live my life, he must've felt alive from doing all this things, at the end Kanye is just a human too like all of us..
Dude can't act
5:12 like what you did there, the reference to ‘Invincible’ by Capone n Noreaga🤩
He looks like the guy who can trick a 😈
Bro casually made the best video about kanye
This was a really good video and I'm glad it got recommended to me. I was looking for content about the downfall of Kanye and I guess youtube noticed lol.
If this guy can lose 160 billion dollars and still smile, I certainly can live my life happily.
bro this video is so well edited and written how the hell does it only have like 4k views
We wonder the same my friend
this will blow up
Shame how this glossed over JUST how important his mom was for him thru the rise of his careeer
who made this video? ryan reynolds ?
holy masterpiece. just subbed
brilliantly made video. new channel to appreciate haha
Welcome aboard!
concluding (in the title) that Kanye's story is "tragic" shows that you don't understand the story, bro
Alright 👍🏻
@@decodemediahq Kanye's story is an Epic
It’s a wordplay
@@decodemediahq well you did. good job. but you might consider grabbing attention in ways that don't make you look dumb, no offense
It's ironic, that a video about a man that found out that modern advertisement must be more honest and real, is full of empty fluff corporate phrases like "redefining what it means to be a celebrity in the 21st century" 😂 Hence, despite good informational content, the video is just as bland and forgettable as every other "safe" corporate media statement, you've ever seen or heard. Every time another corporate PR statement and phrase is dropped, you lose all personal connection and interest. Kinda odd, how people decide to copy the outdated television style media, when creating videos in the new video format, that replaced the outdated one, people lost all interest in.
Kanye WILL make the biggest comeback ever seen in the industry.
100%
The tragic life of pablo
Damn you made him change the thumbnail
what was it
Even we wouldn’t know, at this point, changing thumbnails for this video has just become a thing
lol
Again gone by Kanye as bgm ❤❤❤❤
Burn as a bgm is heartwarming ❤
finally someone noticed. they've used kanye songs in all their videos
Well balanced and beautiful script 🤌🏻✨✨✨✨
great video
5:10 skipped a lot here. his mom died AND he lost the girl he'd been with for half a decade (that he wanted to marry) the same year. He makes an album from this pain called 808s and Heartbreaks and it's ridiculed heavily for the autotune and overall unorthodox hiphop sound/theme. He hits his low point and then the dominos fall to where he gets drunk and interrupts Taylor on stage and becomes public enemy number 1. 5:25 he didn't go straight to Hawaii. he went to japan away from the paparazzi and "flashing lights" to unalive himself. he planned on making a suicide note in the form of a song that samples a woman who also committed suicide in japan (his song - never see me again). he planned on jumping from his hotel I believe. hence why on MBDTF he says on 'Power' "now this will be a beautiful death, jumping out the window, letting everything go" you cant talk about ye and skip over these points. not saying you did on purpose but I don't like the narrative that ye is crazy and has always been crazy. he's a person who goes through things, says some wacky ish, and (in big part bc of his disorder) he says some things that are straight up false/disrespectful. but, the difference between him and your uncle or grandpa is he's one of the most famous and artistically talented men in the world. so there's gonna be eyes on these unfortunate happenings. The ups and downs. when he's ramping and when he regular ole ye.
been waiting for this one and did not disappoint
Glad you enjoyed it
