A cheap home made PVC target stand that cost less than $20 to make. It's a great versatile target stand that can be made to fit any specific target of your choice. Do you have a video on how to build a target stand by steps?

I made a mistake and got 1 1/4" pvc pipe, but it ended up being a great mistake, because the wood fits in the pipe with a perfect amount of tightness, and is almost at 6' height, because it can't go down past the t's , yet is tight to the point that it can't come out.

I think I know where you filmed this. Near Sparks, NV? I've been out there several times. Great design by the way. Thanks.

If you have lots of spent lead bullets, use some to weigh the stand down in windy situations. Rebar pieces work too.

Very interesting!!! But 1 1/2" = 38 mm? Why then 4 foot 1"x2" wood sticks for the supports., will they fit inside the pipes?

I prefer my trigger fingers uncovered. Unfortunately the ones I've tried fall apart after I remove the finger tips... these look well made but don't seem suitable to cut the trigger fingers off!

Thanks for the video. Didn't like the heavy metal stands that are out there that require you to add on tall 1x's. This will be much better for transporting and storing. I'll just bring a small sand bag to set on the leg to help prevent it from tipping over (we get a bit of wind out here where I'm at). Thanks again!

Great video. I built 2 of these using all pvc. I did not put end caps on the bottom pipes because my shooting pit has really loose sand and on windy days I put sand in the bottom pipes to stabilize it. Easy peazy. It's strong enough to hang a 10" steel plate from it.

Forgot to add i put end caps on it to keep out dirt and drilled small wholes on each end to drive long nails through to keep it stable against the wind...thanks again.

Thank you for making this video, there are a lot of videos on making PVC target stands but this one is by far the easiest and cheapest. Cost me $14.58 out the door at Home depot & another $3.88 for a 4 pack of plastic (4") spring clamps for the 1x2 uprights. It stays together without any issues being unglued and that is even in 10 mph winds using weight on one of the legs, and I have used it at least 5 times at my outdoor gun club pistol range, the targets are hung 25 yards from the shooting station and it sucks having to lug everything around when you want to shoot closer...thank you for solving that dilemma for me!

I used most of this same design with a couple of modifications. Instead of the cross bar in the middle, I connect the two sides using the cross piece on the front bottom. I also drill out the firing strips to different heights depending on what kind of shooting I do. A great design. Thanks

I made one similar to this but it was a little more cumbersome than this one. I am going to make this design. I could see gluing the T's to the vertical legs as it doesn't add much length and would be less to have to put together.

Have Gen 1 with 100,000 no internal part failures, just retired it. Bought newer Gen 3 may it last as long? Lot of dealers won't allow you to purchase more then one handgun in a 7 day period, don't want to fill out and ATF multiple sale form . Won't do it for rifles if this is a case? Just need to go to another gun shop in your area. Glock intended the user to rack the slide and not slide stop. Shouldn't make internal modifications on defense pistol, could lead to legal issues if you ever needed to use it for defense!

Of all the PVC target stands out there, this one works, it's cheap, it's stable - and easy to make more stable, and the one cross member makes it more versatile and easier to adjust to fit different width targets. Good job!
