I remember the friendly competition between the Osmond Brothers and the Jackson 5. Both were great boy bands. I even once thought that the song "One bad Apple was a hit by the Jackson 5. Donny and Michaels voice were almost identical in the vocals.

I remember seeing Virl and Tom on the Osmonds Christmas specials when I was a little girl. Now, as an adult, I can appreciate their talents so much moe. Tom, in particular, is just as much a showman as Donny or any of the brothers. Imagine if he had had the opportunity to participate in Deaf Theater, he could have branched into TV and movies. On their own way, Tom and Virl were pioneers in they entertainment industry. I also learned that they were the first Deaf Missionaries for the LDS church. They both served in Alberta, Canada.
