Why aren't more Christians involved in the Great Commission? I believe it's an identity problem. As believers, we have to understand who we are in Christ, that we have a purpose and role in His Kingdom work. We will look at 2 Cor. 5:17-21 to explore our identity in Christ and our role as Ambassadors.

How would you describe the Kingdom of Heaven? How about farming. If that never came to mind we need to take a look at how Jesus describes it, particularly as we think of the Kingdom that has come, and the Kingdom we are praying will come. The 4 Fields is a tool take from Mark 4:26-29 that gives us a frame work to start pursuing the Kingdom until the King returns.

The Church Circle is a diagnostic tool, following the biblical pattern seen in Act 2:36-47, used to ensure we are planting healthy multiplying churches.

I like your ideas on the 4 methods 15:00 In the GO Forth section, since this is described as starting a new field, I think it is great to Go Forth to friends and family as you know better what type of soil they have. Then to be good Christian examples to neighbors and strangers. Lastly, I would say for the Entry section is to cast out the enemies of Christ. These are the "types" of people that Jesus tells us about in the Bible - brothers, family, friends, neighbors, and strangers. But also Jesus talks of people who are enemies of the faith which he did not treat with any respect. The church must be swept free of these people at all times on a continuing basis.
Hi this is Kevin from 6 years later and 2000 years after the Harvest. 10:00 I don't believe we are living in the time of the Harvest. The crops have grown and withered due to poor stewardship. I feel like it is a time to start over - a time of Preparing the Soil. All harvesting right now will be that of tares and thickets - aka bad crops. We have poor leadership in the church of which most don't fully understand scripture or the gospel. I feel it is a time to Regroup and focus on the Foundations. The church is full of tares and thickets that needs to die before we can replant. It is time to let the church clear out the bad fruit then lay the foundation for the future.
The church is supposed to be a house of prayer and worship. We have turned it into a den of thieves and pagans. Nowhere in the Bible does it allow for sinners to enter into the church and yet that is exactly what we have been doing. In fact, we are hiring pagans to lead the church as pastors, worship leaders and teachers. The church of Acts teaches us to throw out the sinners. Church is not a place for sinners to get saved. That is a false teaching of the devil. True salvation comes from the heart which happens outside the church walls. Only once a person has a conversion of heart should they be invited to the church fellowship. Everything we are doing today is backwards from what scripture tells us. We need to reset and start over with true believers and don't be shy about kicking people out of the church if they turn out to be pagans. They can always come back if they have a conversion of heart.
Shouldn't we use Bible verses when we present the gospel?
I believe using Bible verses in your gospel presentation is a great practice, as there is power in the Word. But the gospel itself is power (Rom. 1:16). A new believer, or a child, might not have memorized Scripture but they can proclaim the gospel. The point of teaching different versions of sharing the gospel is that no matter where you're at in your Christian journey, you can share the gospel.

What a great way to explain salvation. One thing is to point to The Holy Spirit our Helper, who will guide us to stay close to Jesus

The gospel is the gospel of the kingdom! Jesus is going to return and set up the kingdom of God ON THE EARTH! God’s government ON THE EARTH! The Messiah died for his people! God resurrected the Messiah! The Messiah will resurrect his people at his coming! The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Rev 21 Matt 24 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Jesus said the Father is the only true God! John 17 3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.
