@longuemire748 I think any game is capable of being played solo if you're willing to put in the work. I tend to play a lot of games that way when I try to learn them.

If I remember correctly, they were not. They were add-ons.

Agreed. I guess it would be more fair to say that I am happy to play another person's copy, but I would not recommend anyone spend money on it who hasn't already touched it. Because it is the actual lowest quality component game I've ever played. But your cards sound better even though we got them at B&N.

We've never played Munchkin, but we enjoy this game.

We have both Point City and Marvel Splendor. They are both fairly similar. I would say it boils down to the theme. Rezvan is an architect, so she enjoys the city building aspect, I'm a comic book fan, so I love collecting heroes up. If you are looking to cull your collection, I would say pick the theme you like more. With that said, Point City is slightly quicker game to set up.

@@cardboardcoalition yeah I agree with you, the theme and/or setting is worth considering especially when the game mechanics are similar. Trying to look for a “deeper” engine building game.. what would you suggest

@ran5629 Wyrmspan is a pretty good engine building game. Wingspan as well, Wyrmspan is just more indepth.

We definitely need to get a how to play and review out. Component wise, it is pretty nice.

@GI-JOEs the Horrified game system overall is a fun entry-level game. Greek Monsters adds an extra element with having to uncover the lairs for certain monsters.

@TheKruegerKnows The art of the game is good, the mechanics are fun but can be a bit confusing, and the theme is enjoyable (The rose calls you to the grave, but be back before sun rise). We played it a few times with freinds, and they enjyed it as well. I would say it is worth picking up if you find it at a good price and you enjoy the theme. We just unboxed the expansion (High Stakes), and Rezvan got excited to play the game again. I thought we did a review, but it looks like it slipped through the cracks.

@@cardboardcoalitionI know Renegade usually puts it on sale for cheap. I’ll check back and see if the expansion adds more to the fun. Thanks

To be honest, I have only played Krampus and Santa Clause. I want to try the gunslinger.

I am going to try, I just need to get to it. Plans didn't go... as... planned (haha) this past weekend, so we haven't played yet.
