It really infuriates me when people do things like this. I've seen them petting guide dogs, offering the dog treats - which I will call them out on. Also pushing past the owner, stepping on the dog, blocking doorways, etc... People need to be more aware to watch out for blind people, especially around roads and trains. I recently saw a guide dog and its owner waiting at the roadside to cross the street. A taxi suddenly parked up (illegally) on the opposite side of the road, the place was extremely busy and the dogs owner was ushering the dog to make a move but the poor dog wouldn't move and didn't know what to do next...it knew where it wanted to go, it just couldn't get there. I walked over and explained to the owner why the dog wasn't moving and I walked them both across the street to where they could both continue on safely. Just know that there are still people out there who will notice you and step up to offer help (or a seat) if needed.
