Man this is heavy. I’ve worked behind the bar at an RSL club for almost 5 years and we have a handful of Vietnam vets that are regulars. I’ve heard some pretty crazy stories from a few of them after a few beers. A couple of them are functioning alcoholics and they have the same look in their eyes as these guys. War and trauma tears men apart and it’s really sad to see, even 50 years later these men are still tortured by their experience. War is horrible.

When the media started to turn against our sldiers was Vietnam, they demonized our soldiers like they did in the US , they portrayed them as baby killers and murderers, the Media should hang themselves in shame.
