I was with the 1st. CAV Div. Artillery. Was in a 3 gun. Team. Started on fire base ( Ennis). Then moved all over. I was only 17 years old. I lost 2 high school classmates. And a cousin, a month later. I can still see their faces. May they rest in peace.

I did 2 tours to Afghanistan. Thank you for making this and thank you to my fellow vets and the fallen.

The most important factor for all of us to know is that the Marines are experienced enough to leave their home grown Opium just where it is , because the multitude of drugs ie. Opium , Heroin, Smack , Black Tar , The Plant that is a very interesting Poppy Plant that produces the Opium that is Bled from each plant on several slashes when ready for harvest , but when you really think about what I've said to y'all , it's for the Market and that includes your pharmaceutical industries that need a whole load of Morphine and Every soldier carries Morphine for an injury or a real pain relief if you've taken a bullet you'll find that the Soldiers get hit with the same Morphine as we as humans all do in the hospital if we have an injury and break a bone ect ect , which is why the senior officer said just put it back because they the people who sell the Opium in different ways to different countries and that includes all the drugs that's been made from Opium like Methadone and Codeine that is ruining America on an all time high of overdoses Fentanyl includes a number of Opioids that branch out to Doctors writing prescriptions and I've had a chance to talk about some of my experiences in life for me being one of many who's come to this drug that I suppose we need a pain relief tablet , pill , hit in the veins , and so on you feel me about what I've noticed and what I understand about political science is what is going on right in front of our eyes but if we think about the big picture we need this shiiit to basically get through a day in our lives if it's in a pill form that is okay right , right it seems to be just the same as being in the middle War and the Taliban runs into a Mosque and the Soldiers cannot blow the church up because it's a place of God and comes under the laws of War but only on one side !!!

I am reading a book (one day as a lion) about 19 young soldiers who died in vietnam and one vet fought on hill 881 south,who witnessed one of those 19 who died there, just reading the stories of those soldiers is heartbreaking,and this happening daily all over vietnam.i have read so many books on vietnam true stories of life death fear bravery and above all the comradeship of soldiers how no matter what, they fought for each other,died to save a fellow soldier,boys many of them with great responsibility,19 years old platoon leader,or recon leader,I cannot imagine what they felt saw smelled,no book can really let you in, but these young men just got on with the job,brave all of them heroes all, there stories must never be forgot.not just vietnam but all conflicts where soldiers fight to protect our way of life.

hard to watch these people suffer more than they are use to due to bad decisions by our politicians and the bad guys in their country. only good people suffer during war. soldiers aren’t hero’s they’re just doing their job and innocent people get hurt when they are involved. the bad guys from that country are ever worse. this is a sad situation and shouldn’t be celebrated by either side. pray for peace in the middle east and around the world.
