I wish to connect 2 monitors and feed the laptop display appear on those 2 screens. This switch doesnt connect to the monitors. Only the laptop is displayed. When I close the laptop, the monitors do not turn on. What am I doing wrong?

Mx series is expensive.. the 590 feels its nor ergonomic designed.. do u feel the m720 matches the max series in its ergonomics? Given an option of m720 and m590 would u opt for m720? Do suggest

First, thank you for this tutorial, it was very easy and helpful. Now to my problem: Once I successfully mirrored my computer screen, I go into the Projection settings on my computer and choose the option "Second screen only", because I only want to see the desktop on my TV, I don't need to have it on both the computer and the TV. Once I choose "Second screen only", my computer screen turns black (as I desired) and the desktop is only visible on my TV, but: the aspect ratio on the second screen changes. How can I avoid that?
