ON the 25th of August 2024, Steamrail Victoria ran shuttles between Hurstbridge and Eltham with K183 and their Tait set. These shuttles ran in conjunction with the Hurstbridge Wattle Festival.

On the 11th of August 2024, Steamrail Victoria ran shuttles from Clifton Hill to Heidelberg with a stop at Eaglemont station with Their Tait set. These shuttles ran in conjunction with a market happening at Eaglemont station.

On the 4th of August 2024, Steamrail Victoria ran shuttles to the Melbourne Showgrounds with their preserved Tait set. This was in conjunction with the Australian model railway Association - Vic. Branch (AMRA) annual model railway show.

707 Operations 'The Riverlander' tour

From the 19th to 21st of July, 707 operations ran a tour to Denilliquin called 'The Riverlander', with locomotives R707, the groups name sake locomotive, A66 and N453. It's near Albion. The Albion station is next to the grain silos that can be seen behind the bridge.

I've got a question, how does the Gippslander accomplish the "slow-train" thing on a relatively well used section of line. Like that thing would be competing with V/Line trains, and I doubt there are that many passing loops that allow overtaking. Does it do it overnight or something?
The gippsland line is mostly, if not entirely double track, so regular services can over take it. for example, this tour made a stop at Taradale, to allow vline services to pass.

Just feels surprising that a double track line would have that many passing loops
@@Comeng17 The line might be bi-directional, so regular trains can just pass on the other line, regardless of direction
K183 sounded like a steaming kettle for much of the day
It did. It was due to the locomotives compressor being damaged, allowing steam to escape and I have heard a couple of other things needed work too.

I'm sorry your videos aren't Getting as many view or likes as before, you're definitely still making great content. I'm in a similar spot, however im trying reverting to the old content thay works, so hopefully that will work for me. Not to tell you what to do, but it seems your PTV train focused content is the most popular. Yes i know that its annoying the videos people like are the ones that are the easiest to make, and the hard ones go underappreciated, but hopefully that will jumpstart your views back from the dozens to the hundreds. Of course, you don't have to change anything, best of luck to you either way.

You are always at all the heritage trains and freight trains. My only explanation is you're psychic, I barely discovered the Newport Workshops Open Day, and i discovered that months in advance.
I often get told about them via a group chat in advance, and usually find out the timetables at least a day or two in advance, which makes it easy to catch them.

Don't see C Classes often
No you don't. C501 is the only one that still operates in Victoria, other than a pair owned by SSR, which very rarely come down here.

I know I'm late, but nice! Was that a standard gauge set, why does 707 have an N-Set
Vline gave them one.
An N set, like the ones V/line uses with their current fleet of N classes on broad gauge, but with standard gauge bogies instead of broad gauge ones. 707 ops got the N set because V/Line donated it to them because it was no longer in use after the end of loco hauled services on the Albury line. Not sure of exact date, but after 2019.

It changed directions between each clip, so I was not overtaking it, but changing stations between runs.

The official number of it is IEV120, often the I is left out though as most people just know it as EV120

The cameras are only on the locomotives when they are working with Evie. I think they are needed as part of the track inspection.

It would have been cool if it had been specifically chose, but I'd say it's more likely it's the best condition or easiest to access N class on standard gauge.
I need to go to Middle Footscray sometime soon, so expect to see that video soon (and by soon I mean probably in over a month, because that's the current time between filming and releasing videos)
Does 707 own that N-Class, because a similar N-Class was alos coupled with A66 and skne P-Classes at Newport?
No, 707 does not own that N class. The N & P class locomotives that were at Newport open day are surplus to requirement, and therefore not used, so vline sent them to Newport along with A66 to display.
