Thank you for uploading more of these! I had forgotten that I subscribed earlier this year, so it was a real positive surprise to see them on my sub-feed. It is so much easier to remember kanji when given context and examples of when/how they’re used and pronounced, and I would love to see more!

Why is the か not with the extra line?

I'm learning to write hiragana and was struggling with ふ and this really helped me understand how the strokes flow together. Thank you!

Anyway, the Hiragana character So has two ways to write. It could be either: the shape of a Latin letter Z and then the curve, or the short diagonal line then the acute angle and then the curve. You can choose either the two of them, but be prepared to see it both ways when it is written.
