6.5Trail in the White Tank mountains in Waddell Arizona
We did it back in the 90's ( and aspen springs), a lot of day hikes too. No big passes to go over. Great memories ... did see a Bear - Thanks
Is that bear spray on shoulder strap . I thought that was banned in Seki
It is banned. We didn't find that out until we ran into a ranger on day 3. He didn't fine us but he did say to put it in our packs. It wasn't posted at the trailhead so we didn't know.
Beautiful hike Travis! Wow! I envy you man.
Thanks man! It was a very beautiful hike! I cant wait to go back!
@@fenimoresoutdooradventures1652 can't wait for another video. Maybe if i can get into shape, I can go with ya lol 😆

Hello hello! This is April, Anne's friend.
In 1969-70, I used ice cubes to get rid of unwanted grass on my favorite trails. On my early morning walks, I'd bring a couple dozen ice cubes, put them on the ground where I wanted the ants to take the grass away. Friends asked me how one person could keep miles of trails weeded. I miss the Superstitions Mountains!
Lived at the edge of Superstitions Mountains in Apache Junction Winter of 1969-70. Friends would often show up and want to hike the trails. One day I was asked how one person could keep miles of trails weed free. On my early morning walks, I would bring dozens of ice cubes, when I saw grass I wanted to get rid of, ants would find the(Ice cubes) water, and haul the grass away.
“55lbs” lmao
It was rough! Lol
cool video🤙 Looks like you had a good trip. I'll be doing this trip solo soon myself💪
I did this trip with my son years ago. Thanks for your video!
This is too good! Need likes? -> Promo-SM!!
A coyote dragging him aye? Mhhmmm.....crazy.
I know right!! That was a crazy story!
24:09 is the campsite I stayed at! It was the first one (that I noticed) after the "Permitted to camp past this point" sign ~7 miles in. I was SO tired by the time I got to it too, also close to dusk. It was about 3 years ago and I heard a rockslide, a few turns I believe, down the canyon! That lounge rock bench wasn't there when I visited. What a cool trip down memory lane. I'll have to do the overnight trip again. Beautiful trail after the heavy traveled first 3 miles.
Beautiful hike!
Looked like a blast and really peaceful! Them love handles though 👀😂💀
I'm gonna need way more of these videos! Really cool documentary style.
There will definitely be more videos! Gonna start filming every trip we go on! The videos will get better from here!
