Those planes got a sound like no other u could tell back then when a crop duster was coming

Used to be a man by the name of guy londe that sprayed around Jackson TN when I was a kid that thing would creep me out when I seen it coming lol

I have watched this for years as my grandfather was an ag pilot flying a G164 Ag Cat with a radial. When I was a kid I would run outside every time I heard him coming to spray. Those moments were some of the best times of my life. I was born in upstate NY and spent my 1st 13 years there watching Don Hatch out of Wayne county get me hooked on flying!

I owned and flew a 74 Cat with a geared 1340 swinging a big 3 blade prop. Mine was also gray with yellow control services when I bought it and I never changed it to all yellow until several years later. Retired in 2016 at 68 years of age and I miss it so much now. It protected me for 24 years. Nothing flies like a radial Agcat. Mine was N7983.

This helped so much - thanks. Received mine 2 days ago and the instructions weren't as clear as they could have been. I tried it on 2 bottles and had to resort to a corkscrew to extract the corks. I was going to give up and take it back. What I was doing wrong was pressing the up button while the opener was still on the bottle thinking that 'pulled the cork up'. Just tried another bottle following your steps and it works perfectly (and now I have 3 open bottles :-) )

Wow... I grew up in a plane like that. My dad was a crop duster who died in a plane crash when I was 16.. 1981. Tomorrow is the anniveesary of his death. I found this video on accident but im grateful beyond words.

that sure brings back memories for sure;; when i was very young my grandaddy had me stand at the end of the rows to make sure the plane didnt miss any rows dusting cotton back then it was tall cotton;; when they would spray peanuts i would ride to the airport with my grandaddy to fuss at the pilots for fling to low an hitting his peanuts an some vines would be on the landing gear ;;lol sure miss those days

Agricultural entertainment at its best! Always took the time to watch a pilot working & enjoying the hell out of it! The radials are the songbirds & the show & sound are a delight. The turbos just don’t hold my attention like the radials. I’m an artifact & so are they. Better is rarely best!

Super helpful! I actually bought this wine opener at Aldi for a great deal deal but was doing something wrong and struggled to get the cork out. Watching an actual video really helped. Just pressing the down button while pushing up to get the cork out was key!!!! Super happy I didn't get rid of it 🤦🤣😀🎉

I must have been doing something wrong I have this exact opener and I would get it all the way down but the cork would not pop out the bottle like I have to pull and hold the bottle between my legs to get the cork out
