I'm a former resident of Marin and Sonoma County. Although I now live in LA County, I look forward to vacationing in these beautiful northern counties in 2025 via the SMART train. ❤

I rode Feb 10, 2024 from Petaluma to downtown San Rafael I wanted to follow the rail tracks as much as possible. I did not want to ride the existing bike routes...I wanted to see what SMART has done with millions of our sales tax dollars I felt that the pedestrian/bike path has been ignored and neglected after all these years of the trains operating There was not one sign nor arrow nor way finding to get back to the Pathway once the route when on the street of other bike routes. A logo or graphic design for the SMART Pathway is long overdue. Does SMART have a logo or design for the Path and its route??

One thing I was NEVER told is you must tag your card at the terminal you exit from or you will be charged for traveling every existing zone in your direction! You must tag on and off!

So... how do I use clipper card. I watched the whole thing waiting to find out and learned lots of ways to give you money, but not how to redeem card and get on train. Is there a followup video I can't find that you can link too?

Why have two tracks at the stations that overlap the other rails? You can't get more than one train in at a time so what purpose does it serve?

Not cheap! from cotati to Santa Rosa is $7,75 for a doc visit and another $7,75 for the return trip! id rather drive.

Where would i rather be? riding bikes on a bike path that runs the length of railway as promised in 08!!! not a broken up path that dead ends into dangerous roadways
