this track was recorded live in Ableton with just a drum loop, a loop of four one bar notes on an arpeggiator and 2 midi controllers (one as a homemade foot pedal).

The rubs, the juggling and body tricks are on point. The sound selection is garbage though. The vocals at the beginning sound like something my 11 year old sister listens to.
Its dope to see how far reaching this is getting. I don't personally remember Australia in the DMC ever, but was thrilled to see it. Great job bro, from the US.

Perhaps we should! I couldn't help but feel it was so easy compared to the old school vinyl djs. You actually had to source and change records, there was no easy button pressing... half the time (and I couldn't watch it all) I didn't actually see what he was doing, as the computer & software is doing the job for you. I didn't respect it as an old school DMC fan from 1986/7 era, as its all just too easy in comparison and just doesn't excite me like the vinyl only djs can. Its too much computer and not enough DJ for my money. Sad to see the artwork has been killed. I'd respect him if he did that on vinyl only.
