Kokum saar | Goan Futi Kadhi Recipe

INGREDIENTS
6-8 kokum (mangosteen dried)
1 ltr Hot water
1 tbsp Sugar or jaggery
Salt as per taste
1/2 tbsp Ghee
1/4 tsp Asafoetida
1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
8-10 Curry leaves
2 Green chillies chopped
1/4 cup Coriander leaves finely chopped
PROCESS
*Soak the kokum in hot water for 20-30 minutes.
*Strain the liquid, then add sugar or jaggery, salt , green chilli, salt and mix it .
*For tempering, heat ghee , add asafoetida, mustard seeds, Cumin seeds, curry leaves and add this tempering to the kokum water.
*Add fresh coriander and serve it .
