How can the shroud be real as Jesus had a separate face cloth and the shroud is of the whole body? John 20:6-7 English Standard Version 2016 (ESV) Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying there, and the face cloth, which had been on Jesus' head, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself.

Our lector promises us two hypotheses as to why the Shroud's radiocarbon readings did not come out to first century, but then she only mentions one hypothesis, the so-called "secret repair" idea. The other idea that she mentions is the alternative dating methods which do nothing to explain the Shroud's radiocarbon readings. How can someone who has studied the Shroud for years be so uninformed?

One of the best and easiest to understand lectures on the Shroud of Jesus. But in the spirit of evangelism, need to remove all denominational tendencies that tend to turn the uninformed Christians away from the shroud introduction and information, who are not Catholics.

Trump is what you get, for not shaming those proposing we travel better, with one foot in fantasyland. Not everyone can pretend God made Mormons so Christians would know how Jews feel. If Jesus Christ had a competent God, then the Jews would be buying it, they settle for Moses, world's worst navigator, guiding the people of God as if progress can be made with one foot in fantasyland. We "know them by their works". They indoctrinate children with a fictional vocabulary & speak of signs. The only sign given is Jonah: Being outnumbered by a wicked generation of believers, was tossed overboard. Like a silly believer, he even asked for it. The Book of Jonah 11 Then they said to him, "What shall we do to you, that the sea may quiet down for us?" For the sea grew more and more tempestuous. 12 He said to them, "Take me up and throw me into the sea; then the sea will quite down for you; for I know it is because of me that this great tempest has come upon you." Rsv It is by faith Jonah was picked up and tossed overboard, being mindless, he asked for it.

Re: Luke 11:29-36 "As the crowds increased", Jesus said, “This is a wicked generation. It asks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah. For as Jonah was a sign to the Ninevites, so also will the Son of Man be to this generation. Jonah 1:15-17 KJV So they took up Jonah and cast him forth into the sea: and the sea ceased from her raging. Then the men feared the LORD exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice unto the LORD, and made vows. The superstitious crowd is wicked. We know them by their works & those use the vocabulary of fiction as if we did not know nothing fails like prayer in a children's hospital. No man looks for prophet as a job description outside of fantasyland. Even Jesus Christ proclaims faith is worthless since you can't get mountains to jump on command, as if they could ask "How high sir." Jesus Christ is fiction so you can cherry-pick a number of things. I'm trying to use the text to point out nothing is sacred or divine, it is your faith which heals you & not touching the hem of his tunic like people do, by virtual touching the shroud of Turin. The scream from the wicked generation says look there is a magic image of Jesus, He is not fiction. Men have always known God is fiction. The Temple of God serves the best meat, & if Gods existed, She would have no need of men for teachers. Thanks for the reply. How is it possibly ethical to suggest the equivalent of a notion we all travel with one foot in a stranger's fantasyland, using fictional vocabulary: prophecy, prayer, etc. We have Moses: World's worst navigator leading a party as if travel were best done with one foot in fiction. If Christianity were so good, why are the Jews unconvinced? The religious lack any standing for a vacuum of quality-control. The Jews have a joke: God made Mormons so Christians would know how Jews feel. As the crowds increased, Jesus said, "This is a wicked generation. It asks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah, who was sacrificed overboard & the raging sea grew calm." The sign of Jonah is the superstitious working their way to a majority & good people dying. Need we add more? Should we ignore it was secular law & order ending the inquisitions, the witch killing? Nothing fails like prayers in a children's hospital. We don't recommend prophet as job description. We know them by their works & Christians have attempted to put their new wine in the old Jew wineskin. They both come from genital mutilation spun up with circumcision as a shortcoming. We know them by their works, the vocabulary of fiction, of spin.

Beware the gathering crowd, superstition only gives us the sign of Jonah, our being thrown overboard as a sacrifice to perform work, calming the sea, trading for the freedom of Barabbas. Why does Rabbi Tovia Singer utterly destroy the notion Jesus could have been one of the Messiahs, exposing Christianity as a made-up religion. If Christianity were not a made-up religion then why are the Jews not buying it after 2000 years? Believers mindlessly suggest it is a good idea for us to suspend our disbelief, as if God made Mormons so Christians would know how Jews feel, as if Jesus never decried faith as worthless as a mustard seed when it comes to telling mountains to move with expectations of obedience. They want all the data to fit in a fiction, complain when the science does not fit, & then keep the merchandizing going that started in the middle-ages. The problem is The Shroud of Turin is controlled by those with a vested interest in keeping the story alive. Believers mindlessly suggest it is a good idea for us to suspend our disbelief God made Mormons so Christians would know how Jews feel or faith is worthless as a mustard seed when it comes to telling mountains to move with expectations of obedience, nothing fails like prayers in a children's hospital, they all share a family history with cutting bits off. How is it possibly ethical to suggest the equivalent of a notion we all travel with one foot in a stranger's fantasyland, using fictional vocabulary: prophecy, prayer, etc. We have Moses: World's worst navigator, leading a party as if travel were best done with one foot in fantasyland. We know them by their works, the vocabulary of fiction, of spin. It is not what goes into them declaring what is kosher, but what comes out that condemns them. It is their worthless faith with heals them, rather than touching the hem of His Tunic or dating the Shroud of Turin.

The only issue i have, is this, how on earth could any man survive the torture he endured ,think about the romans they knew how to torture a man, but keep him alive for the crucifiction, but men did die just from the scourging, limit of 39 lashings jewish law for lashings given, but if you look at the shroud and the amount of lashings its over 300 ( combined ) and on both sides of the body. The way the flagerin was made they all say it had glass or metal hooks or bone in the leather, if that was true, then the amount of blood loss alone and the pain associated you would black out or even die as some historians say. I would say that jesus lost consciousness a few times for sure, ( especially when the nailed to the cross ) plus to think he would have to carry the top part of the cross as well, so i think IMO that the flaggering they used only had metal dumbbells and no glass or bone or metal hooks as some historians say, otherwise the blood loss would be massive and he would have died during the flogging IMO, just like its mentioned that some people died from the flogging or scorging alone.🙏🙏🙏🙏💕💕💕💕🦘🦘👌👌👍👍

Off the 3 most important relics/icons of Christ, namely The Shroud of Turin (Blood), The Veil of Veronica (Sweat) & The Mandylion (Emotion) ,it is the Mandylion that came as a direct Gift from Christ to man This is its truth:: At the time of Jesus there ruled a King called Abgar in Edessa (Urhai) who having heard of Jesus, his preachings, miracles & his PERSECUTION by the Jews, sent word to Jesus inviting him to live & preach in his kingdom peacefully, offering to send his Army to fetch him , though Jerusalem was under Roman Jurdiscation Jesus sent back word that he would not come but would send his representative Later came Mar Mari & St Addai, the pair off the 72 disciples, The King was greatly pleased at seeIng them, welcoming them, remembering the words of Jesus thus came in pocession of what became known as the "Image of Edessa " called THE MANDYLION, as a Gift from Christ Edessa went on to become a major center of Christian learning, a safe place for Christians inc the Jews who accepted their Messiah, while there was heavy PERSECUTIONS going on in Jerusalem, Rome etc During the latter part of the 2nd centuary there was born in the land of Abgar, "Constantine The Great" leading to the EDICT OF MILAN, the truth behind the *MANDYLION *It is said that after Abgar invited Jesus, he washed his face & dried/moped it with a peace of cloth, & the image of his face became imprinted on the cloth, it is reasoned that which caused the image of his face to be imprinted on the cloth was his "Strong Emotion" even as the truth of the MANDYLION continues,

It would if it was in Jesus time but it isn't. Yes there have been challenges to the original date of the cloth. I recently just responded to one of my own commenters who claimed resurrection of Yeshua was proved by the Shroud of Turing with new evidence. So I researched it thoroughly all of the challenge evidence and made the vid showing all of it was debunked. I researched .a lot of videos as well. What the apologists do is take a rogue evidence piece and don't further read to see it was debunked. It looks to be a real shroud from what I read and not a forgery. But Yeshua's time---nothing confirms that. Cheers, DCF

Art history regarding Byzantine icons and coins proves that the Shroud was extant in the sixth century. If the C-14 dating of the Shroud had resulted in such a date, it might have some credence, but as it is, the 1989 interpretation of the Shrouds' C-14 readings is obviously erroneous.

One might ask why the governnor passed Jesus onto the Jewish leaders many times and tried to wash his hands of him rather than have him escecuted forthwith like he did many times as a formality, the death of Jews meant nothing to him and Jesus was just another one on his list., but Pontius Pilat was reluctant to excecute Jesus because his wife had a dream the previous night about Jesus and she was so perturbed, she begged the governor ..."not to have anything to do with that righteous man, I sufered much in a dream about him""

The so called shroud has been carbon dated to circa 1400 so actually it is a fake. the apostle John who was an eye witness writes that the head cloth was lying separate from the strips of linen see John ch20 verse 3 onwards. The bible is the word of God anything that disagrees with it is incorrect.the gospel of John also describes the resurrection of Lazarus.chapter 11verse43-44. The dead man came out.his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen and a cloth around his face. This would have been the standard method of burial.
