      We totally understand that. That is the view of our guest. But we also strongly feel companies should pay well to the fresh talent as salaries have been stagnant for more than 12 years now.

    The guy is talking nonsense He didn't seen to have i idea of ground reality There is labour court in India where seldom and employer will win. Getting a replacement in sme with restricted resources is quite a talash task employees don't want to be terminated in a 15 day notice period then they should also expect to serve notice period required by the company More critical or difficult the roles higher should be the notice period Also in most sme further multiple people for same time usually there is one person for multiple roles And not to forget the poor quality off talent available. Every company big or small had to spend to train and fine tune the employee to be productive I think it is about time the cost of training is taken from the employees

      Great BS by what seems to be a toxic employer. You are hiring employees D****uck, not slaves! All of the roles are replaceable, and there is a reason why the notice periods are 2 weeks in all developed countries. If you can't find a replacement for a person in 15 days, you aren't looking hard enough or if he/she was important enough for you in the first place, you should've paid them enough or treated them fairly as an equal rather than a slave for them to not leave the job....you/the company won't bat an eyelid firing the same employee in a matter of hours if it is required, so why the hell should the employee care about your logistics?

    Good session. At least you are discussing this issue. Thanks you for that. Don't tell me your three guests have never used buzzwords in their profile on LinkedIn or Resumes to get noticed :). Every other person is creating the inflated resume/profile and those in the field of data-centric roles are shamelessly inflating their profile the most and with Gen-AI over the last couple of years, this has been rampant all across and especially on LinkedIn. 😟 In the age of extreme marketing everyone wants to get ahead and honesty takes backseat while showoff, marketing pays. Sorry to say, but corporate success now a days depend on - - 20% skill/talent - 80% marketing/networking

    Incredible to hear someone as knowledgeable as Sharat Kaul, articulate the position India is in. We typically get to hear talking heads who have no idea about semiconductors spewing their biases, for or against India. To hear someone at a CXO level at Kaynes Semicon is indeed refreshing!!
