Located on the edge of the Cotswolds in Southwest England, The Sub Rooms is a hub, Stroud’s home for creativity and joy.
It is a place for all people at all stages of their lives. It is a unique venue providing an innovative programme of music, dance, theatre, visual arts, spoken word, exhibitions and workshops. It is a vibrant public space that enables everyone to come together to form a community.
The Subscription Rooms were originally built by public subscription and sit physically and culturally at the heart of the town. Maintaining and acknowledging this sense of community ownership is key to our success - and we invite everyone to come and be part of our journey.
