Truly an amazing watch, I really think its face is more beautiful than a R.Oak, I love the thinner bezel so much more. After seeing the F77, the R.Oak seems bulky and less refined design wise. I would love some little improvements on the F77 though. Nivada should make the F77 case 1mm thinner, remove the clasp for a 100% bracelet one (like on the PRX, the R.Oak) and finally reduce the lug to lug to 46mm instead of 50.5mm. Yes, making a 37mm case with a 50.5mm true lug to lug put this watch in a difficult spot imo.

These new models look bigger than my SNJ 029.

Just got the sapphire Speedy last weekend. Had to finance it and make some sacrifices to pay for a while, but I had been waiting for a specific moment to finally happen for 24 year before getting it; having a fast enough time to qualify for the Boston Marathon. Been an Omega fan for decades though, even if I’ve only had one other that I bought new back in 2001; a Seamaster 300M. These watches aren’t necessarily about convenience. They’re not battery operated, you need to wind them, and with me I find myself being HYPER aware and careful when wearing them as to not scratch or damage them even in the tiniest way. But convenience or being able to be lackadaisical when wearing these watches isn’t the point. It’s the craftsmanship, attention to fine detail and precision, history, and elegance. Almost like savoring a good meal instead of shoveling it into your mouth, taking your time with a good cigar, or stopping to appreciate a beautiful place in nature, wearing a fine mechanical watch is similar. Even preferring Omega as the more recognizable luxury watch brands go, there is at least one Rolex that has been on my list too; the GMT Master II with red/blue bezel. I’ve always loved aviation and history, and it’s the watch that most professional pilots wore during the golden age of jet travel, and was the preferred watch of Pan Am. They’re even more gorgeous watches with today’s version too. But yes, generally speaking a person with multiple Rolexes typifies a different character of a person. I’d also love to own watches from brands like A. Lange & Söhne, Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet, and Patek Philippe, but those brands are such a huge jump price-wise, like the difference between an Audi and a Rolls-Royce, that’s it’s pretty unlikely that I’ll ever own one. But I can dream.

A still pic would be even more informative. Maybe turn the dramatic, suspenseful music up like 20 more db to REALLY ADD TO THE GUESSWORK and intrigue. That'd be extra neat and useless.

I have a 21 SS, as well as other watches, but im sorry, the plastic hands kill me. They look so out place in an otherwise awesome timepiece. Its like you can see the plastic hands its were they decided to cut corners, compared to Rolex for example. The added metal in the hands for me makes a huge difference.

My Citizen BNO 150 is my daily driver, and by that i mean its been on my wrist 7 days a week for a year. Took off the uncomfortable rubber strap and added a stainless bracelet from island watch and boom....good for any and all ocasions.

I bought my Speedy nearly 20 years ago, I also have an IWC BPW, a Breitling SOH II and a few others. I don’t have a favourite (just maybe the SOH) wearing whichever watch I feel like depending on where I’m going or what I’m wearing.
