I agree to a point, After the legs are removed, and the leg knuckles, use a knife and cut the crab in half so you have 2 pieces, the top and the bottom of the crab. Doing it this way, severs all the cavities so you are not digging out the meat but rather lifting it out of each cavity. A whole lot easier. Bay crabs are the best. Thanks. Maryland native from 1948 to 1992. Now live in Virginia now where the crabs are a lot smaller but still delicious.
