We've made this simple test to show you how target size, target position and swipe speed affect the depth of detection of your Golden Mask, or any other motion-type VLF metal detector. At 8kHz the difference is very noticeable, this is a relic frequency. Is it also good for gold prospecting using the smallest coil? How does it handles the hot rocks? Thanks.
Yes, Deep Hunters are used for gold prospecting in Arizona and Texas with great success, but seems they have big nuggets there. If you want to detect the smallest nuggets, better get a GPX or GPZ. Hot rocks are always an issue, all depends on the operator skills.

Can I use the mobile version of the frame 140-180 cm and how?
The frame coils for Deep Hunter Pro 3/5 are fully compatible. The connector is exactly the same.

@@nik54887 A frame must be always carried by two persons! Staying inside the frame may be dangerous! The Mobile is compatible with the frames, but it is designed to be used with round and elliptic search coils.

Pro 3SE is the deeper in Manual mode. In AUTO mode they are equal.

What batteries would you suggest to use in the pro pack GM6 with the smart battery charger? TKS
You can use any NiMH AA batteries with standard size. Some high-capacity batteries 2600 mAh or more, are out of standard and could cause bad contact in the battery cassette. So better stay under 2600 mAh. SANYO Eneloop are among the best rechargeables.
