I enjoyed the story time! I also feel very comfortable wearing my style in London, people often say that London people ignore other people and I think that’s true, people are doing their own business and not looking at me or bothering me. Living in other parts of the UK I’ve been yelled at in the street just for wearing pink or even just a basic outfit with a girly skirt or bright pair of shoes. I don’t have that kind of experience in London generally. London is great for alternative fashion I think 😊

i'm a german who dresses alternatively (i used to dabble in jfashion as well when i was younger but now its more goth), and i live in a town where harrassment and The Stares are particularly bad for people who dress and look differently. i'm sorry you went through this, but i think you handled this perfectly. calling them out in german was the right move because you basically stepped right into their safe zone, shattered their sense of privacy and caught them offguard. i do really commend you for speaking up, i'm usually too afraid to do so. i have noticed though that i used to get harrassed a lot more when i was wearing more feminine, pastel coloured jfashion as opposed to my darker style now. people think just because someone's cute they can't be confident or stand up to themselves, and apparently people also feel a lot more comfortable bothering people they percieve as helpless based on their aesthetic or a more fem appearance. also, i love your accent a lot, it's such a nice mix of german mixed with british 🥹i'm surprised your channel is so small, the quality of your videos is so nice!

Oh my gosh, Gus like that are so infuriating. I have experienced a lot of boys like that here in the UK. Earlier this month I was alone traveling back home and a group of boys were very clearly pointing at me and laughing at me. I ended up getting on the same train as them and we were all standing in the same area. They shut up very quickly when I looked them all in the eyes. Some jerks love showing how cool they are to their friends but the moment they are confronted (even just by a look by a single woman), they shut up. It’s pathetic behavior, needing that validation, being seen as macho and tough by friends by bullying anyone who looks different from them. I personally feel wary of men and teen girls here, but much less than I felt when I lived in the mid south in America. I didn’t feel safe wearing cuter alt/jfashions like egl until I lived here in London.
