more pikmin 2, yay! you did everything you were supposed to do, how fantastic! the purple pikmin are my favorite type, and also they're extremely busted. purples deal 20 damage, the most out of any pikmin. they can also stun enemies when thrown. just beware, there's no purple onion. you can only get them from converting pikmin (which you should use reds for, they're pretty useless). and you'll need a 100 of them for the final area, so be careful with them. in this game, you can swap pikmin! if you hold A, you can use left and right on the dpad to swap pikmin types. if you hold A and press up or down, you'll switch between flower, bud, or leaf pikmin. this game has alot of cutscenes, but you can speed them up with START and B. START skips almost all cutscenes, but B skips only some. also if the ship is talking (which it does, alot) you can press B to skip the typing(ish?) animation, so it automatically reveals the full text. hopefully your next episode goes well, good luck as alyways!

Oh wow, didn’t think you were going to jump back into pikmin so soon lol. That was pretty funny seeing you do that glitch lol. Basically you whistled the pikmin off the bag during the cutscene of them crushing the bag, and confused the game. You can do it in the first game too, with that first box in the Impact Site if you whistle your pikmin during the frame the cutscene starts playing. You call the pikmin off the box and they can no longer push it, so the cutscene never ends and the game is soft locked. Can’t wait to see you experience 2, definitely gonna be some highlights and as always I’ll try to give some tips, but you know most of them from 1 lol.

woo pikmin 2! i am actually in the middle of replaying it! i love this game alot, but admitedlly, it also has alot of flaws, and the tutorial is one if them. i am not referring to the glitch you encountered, i have never seen that glitch, but more so how slow it is compared to pikmin 1. it is kind of iconic, though. 13:39 gee, aren't you a comedian. also, this game is much more "floatish" in my opinion. it can feel werid at first, especially after just playing 1, but you'll bet used to it fast (also unlike 1, when you throw a pikmin, the number at the bottom doesn't change instantly, which sometimes bothers me). at last, i'll give you a tip. in this game, you don't swarm the big bulborbs, you throw pikmin at them. good luck with this game, you'll NEED it!

darn, sorry for being late again! i couldn't watch the video in one sitting, and the next day i was busy. to push the box, you actually needed to throw your reds on the fire geyser thingy, go to the side where the bridge was, whistle them, and command them to push the box. it was painful watching you waste half the day trying to figure it out lol. no worries, good thing you pushed it in the first place, and the solution you found was kind of creative. you don't actually have to sacrifice yellow pikmin in the emperor fight! you could have thrown a bomb pikmin just as the emperor opens his mouth, then whistle the pikmin, making it drop the bomb. the emperor would the eat the bomb, but not the pikmin, in turn making it stunned for longer. speaking of the emperor, it's jump atack is really hard. on deathless runs, i want to kill it before it can even do the atack (speaking of deathless runs, you should check out hawlo's runs. i learned alot from them). anyway, congratulations on finishing pikmin 1! as for the next game you should play, i would love if you did pikmin 2, as it's my favorite game in the series. it can get pretty hard though, and you would have to change the format quite alot. admittedly, i haven't played alot of other gamecube games. i played a bit of wind waker, kirby airride, the original animal crossing, and melee. but i haven't even touched luigi's mansion for example ( i am planning to play it, though). so i couldn't give you any tips, but i would still comment though. i won't force you to do 2 next though. you should chose what game you wanna play next, maybe it will bring even more views then pikmin.

Look at all the pikmin types you missed, all since you missed the egg in the distant spring :(. The purple pikmin are OP af for the emperor bulblax fight, kills it in seconds. Ah well maybe next time. You also missed the section where it shows the names of all the creatures in the game after the credits roll lol. As for the fight with Emperor Bulblax, that went as well as I imagined it would go lol. He’s pretty tough on the Original version, easier on the remakes since you can swap what pikmin you are throwing (so you can select and throw your bomb pikmin, let him eat them and swap to the reds and go ham). You did good for going in blind, only thing that you misplayed is getting greedy with the throws (once the stun is done and he shakes them off, whistle and retreat, otherwise the pikmin go for the ankles and he squashes them, since once pikmin are in “attack” mode, they stay in that mode until whistled). That’s what primarily killed your pikmin on the Bulbears, they’d get shook off, and go for the ankles where the Bulbears would have an all you can buffet since ankle shots do little dmg. Was kinda funny seeing you create a chain reaction at 23:07, the pikmin you threw had a bomb which got blown up by the bomb in his mouth, that then blew up the rest of the squad. Same with the Olimar death at 29:49, that is a perfect freeze frame, “We’ll be right back meme”. Was a fun series, can’t wait to see what you play next, pikmin 2 would be cool, but it can be pretty hard and infuriating at times (but that’s why it’s fun to watch lol), but i'd completely understand if you don't want to play the hardest pikmin game in the series lol.

You ready for Pikmin 2?

Nice, a 3 part day, that is some really good efficiency. You also have improved greatly since the start of the series. You went from being scared to have more than 10ish pikmin, to rolling with 40 with ease. Still remember you trying to fight your first Bulblorb (the big one) with 10 pikmin, having to run away from it multiple times, so you could put him back to sleep, and do some more dmg, then run away again, to finally kill it and not even having enough pikmin to bring it back to the onion. That is a stark difference than today where you killed 2 of them and 3 bosses lol. You also don’t need to do stop by base nearly as much as before, I remember when you found the fuel dynamo, didn’t have enough to carry it back, got enough, watched them bring it back, then put them away again and continued with a small squad. You come a long way since then, I’m sure if you replayed it again you’d probably get under 20 maybe 15 days :). Can’t wait to see you fight the final boss, he’s pretty tough lol. And don’t forget to press d-pad down and let the pikmin carry you back to the onion while they carry the last part back (be infront of the part) for a nice surprise, it’s kinda cool :)

actually, the red ones are called bulBORBS while the uhm, black ones are called bulBEARS! you didnt need to use yellow pikmin to get the shock absorber, you could have used any pikmin. when you started bringing everything back from the snagret fight, without killing the bulborbs, i immediately knew what was going to happen. good job on finishing the forest of hope! i already told you, but i hated finishing this area, so much so, that i gave up on it many times. good luck fighting the final boss, he LOVES bombs!

Question, why Pikmin 1 and not squared?

You killed my boy, Steve, the Red Pikmin by forcing him to swim :(. As for the episode, good job, that was some really good efficiency. You can honestly probably get all the parts tomorrow if you go big. Something you should do when you find the 30th part and are bringing it back, is get in front of it with 5 pikmin, and press down on the d-pad, and let the pikmin carry you back to the onion, something cool happens :) My favorite enemy is the Swooping Snitchbug Said no one ever lol.

olimar LIED to you! the reason your swarm failed, is because you're supposed to swarm the bulborbs back when its sleeping, with large amount of pikmin. and DONT swarm their legs. the damage is minimal, and its practically a death send for your pikmin! also, to kill a snagret safely (the thing that burrows into the ground) you have to wait till it gets stuck, and then swarm it with all your pikmin. good luck! (i also hate the snitchbugs)

a little late this time, cause my phone battery died when you released this :/ the beetle was actually easier than i thought. i mean, it was always easy for me because i beat it with a large amount of pikmin, but i thought he had more health. the dumples also went way better than i thought, probably because you're getting better with the swarm feature! when your numbers started dropping down, i instantly knew what happend. the wollywogs are extremely deadly in this game. still, good job for getting that part back and finishing the distant spring! now you should finish the forest of hope! when i first played, i hated finishing that area, because of... something, in the ground. the other boss wasnt as bad though. good episode!

Good job on clearing out the Distant Spring, you have a really good shot at getting all the parts:) I’d recommend before you start the last boss you farm up some pikmin in the Impact Site, he can be deadly. Bonus if you visit the Impact Site on an even day:) That was a close call with the Radio, but it was the right move, I woulda did the same thing lol. You coulda prob avoided it with putting more pikmin on the radio to speed it up, but it was probably just ultimately just bad rng with aggro/where the Wollyhops were. Sad to see the series coming to an end :( but hopefully the next one is good:) It is sad you didn’t see the egg tho lol.

Nice, only 2 more parts in the distant spring, then the return to the forest of hope. Hopefully you figured out the part you are missing, if you need a tip still, it moves, so make good use of your radar/map.

part acquired, yippee! the beetle is actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it, but you should still be careful, since it's rocks can wipeout a whole squad of pikmin. as for the map thing, i think the part is in that blowhog you passed earlier with the water dumples.

Nice a 2 part episode. A few things, the candy pop buds take in 10 pikmin at a time, I don’t exactly know what causes the buds to spit out less than that. Might be time based, could also be just getting jostled enough triggers them. The lone pikmin was cause the Swooping Snitchbug couldn’t plant the pikmin where he dropped it, it happens if they land too close/on a wall. The part you are looking for isn’t outta bounds, it is inbounds, just gotta open the map more to figure out its exact position. And lastly, the egg :), sadly you missed it, only spawns in the distant spring before day 15, so you’ll have to find it in another playthrough. Definitely woulda been an amazing episode :)

good episode! though, throughout the series i have noticed that you dont swarm enemies very much. i'm pretty sure you do know that if you swarm pikmin onto an interactable object they'll well, interact with it. this is the same for enemies as well. if you swarm your pikmin onto them, they'll start atacking. this is useful for fighting bulborbs and water dumples (the thing in the water that eats pikmin). you should give it a try. do note that for some enemies, this isnt the best way to fight them.

Good job on getting the part back and clearing out that area of Bulbears and Dwarf Bulbears, good progress for getting the rest of the parts back. As for the Bulbear incident, you had the right idea trying to use your numbers to overwhelm the enemies, they are really tough. They have high health, health regeneration, and the dwarf ones can’t be squished to insta kill them. Plus the area is a lot busier than normal since you are past day 15, when the dwarf Bulbears start spawning. You did make a big mistake while fighting them, but I’ll only tell you what it is, if you want me to. As for some tips, if you want to make the most of nectar, try to twirl the c-stick around a lot (so the pikmin kinda circle around you) and walk into it, you’ll get more pikmin flowered that way. The c-stick is basically the swarm command, it tells the pikmin to move/interact with whatever is in that direction, can be really useful for getting pikmin on parts and enemies without throwing them too. Also the impact site is a good source of recouping pikmin, bonus points if you do it on an even day :). Can’t wait for episode 16, hopefully you get another 2 part day lol.

5:18 haha you lost a ton of Pikmin because you didn't have enough. I told you to go with 60, but you went with like half! its okay though, mistakes happen especially for newer players. don't be discouraged.

Nice, another 2 part episode, now you got a 2 day buffer, keep up the pace and I’m sure you’ll beat the game in time. Something I noticed is that you are afraid to use a lot pikmin to attack enemies, and instead use certain number of pikmin to attack the enemies. It’s typically better to try to use the number advantage to overwhelm the enemies. For example, the first Wollyhop this episode you spent a lot of time trying to get your squad down to 6 pikmin when you could have spent that time throwing your pikmin at the frog, and also prevent the potential incident of the frog smooshing your idle pikmin. I also noticed when fighting bigger enemies you are afraid to keep chucking the pikmin, you wanna try to get as many pikmin on the enemies as possible since it means more damage and less time fighting/more time to carry back the corpses to replenish pikmin you might have lost. Pikmin are like ants, more ants on a bug the more likely they are to overwhelm it, any ants lost will prob be recovered by that bug, same principle. Kinda wanted to try to let ya know since you got a lot of stuff to kill for a few parts. As always can’t wait for the next episode :)

Reminds me of my first pikmin experience lol, take all your pikmin out at the same time then you can carry/fight more enemies

to defeat the frogs, you have to throw pikmin on their back, and then call them back just before they fall down. its easier said then done. even i sometimes mess up. you have to stop throwing the pikmin a few seconds before the frog jumps. call them back when it's feet move down.

Gotta love how chaotic Distant Spring gets, luckily some of the stuff you killed won’t respawn for a couple days so you won’t have to deal with them for a bit. Can’t wait to see the next episode :)

i would recommend not fighting bulbears without atleast 60 pikmin. of course, you dont have 60 reds with you all the time, but if you can you should definitely do that. it's faster and less dangerous

Good job on killing Beady Long Legs, he’s one of the tougher bosses in this game. And yeah there is one more area (the final boss area), hopefully you get to see it.

Good job on killing the Goolix, and if you ever do another farming session, try to have 100 pikmin out before hand, you save a lot time by not having to pluck them (you still get the pikmin even if no pikmin come out), it’s especially useful since some enemies give A LOT of pikmin. Hopefully tomorrow is a very productive day :)

You can whistle bomb pikmin as long as you don’t throw them, that primes them to use their bombs. Only way to deactivate them is to walk into them. Good job on unlocking the next area and getting ahead on the days :)

Yeah I knew the bomb rock thing was coming as soon as you went down there lol. Bomb Rocks are pretty annoying in the GameCube version since you can’t whistle them back, other versions you can. As for the funniest video, idk about that :), but the realization that you messed up and the silence was pretty funny. Not as funny as the pikmin AI being dumb and you just being like “eh your dead” and leaving them.

Nice 3 parts, you are catching up :). The Space Float came from the Bread Bug (the enemy that was stealing your pellets last episode). Basically when your blue pikmin were taking an enemy/pellet back to the onion, it tried to steal it and bring it back to its nest (that’s the leafy thing you were curious about last episode). In doing so it engages in a tug of war with them and if you have the minimum pikmin to lift it, it won’t move/the bread bug might overpower them, but if you have more than the minimum they’ll over power it and bring it back to onion, where it’ll smack its head and take a bunch of dmg, almost a full health bar, and since you hit it atleast once, when it bonked its head it died (that was the sound you heard last episode). TLDR: Pikmin played tug of war with an enemy and won, where it died since it bonked its head after getting hit once before. If you have anymore questions I’ll happily answer them, and as always can’t wait for the next episode :)

I dont know who this Bueller guy is but I get the feeling he gets carried in call of duty a lot.
