Thank you for posting: I hope they had a long and happy marriage. This takes me way back when I was a girl….. I had older sisters and so the fashions of the day are revived again in this lovely time capsule. Notice how lots of the women are wearing gloves too. There was a real sense of occasion back then. I remember it all as if it were yesterday. Something seems to have been lost nowadays…..but I suppose every generation says the same doesn’t it?

As a young child my grandad used to come with his caravan in the late 70's/early eighties and visit us from Kent. I am sure it was behind Chemberlains Farm he pitched his caravan. We played cricket in the field and drunk orange cordial.

Some great footage there! Proof that in many ways the Broads hasn't really changed that much over the years, recognised most of the areas there. The main difference being that everything man made in the 70s appears to be orange and brown...
