A Tribute to my dear friend, Russ Hamilton. This is a rare unpublished song recorded and written by Russ, a famous singer of the 60s. His biggest hit in UK is "We Will Make Love" and in US "Rainbow". The cover of my Tribute album to Russ Hamilton is designed by my daughter, Lee Hai Lin.

I cant stay mad at u ❤❤❤❤
❤skeeter
Luv it
She's was a great singer but this song is not for her.... Suzy Bogguss had the best version followed by Moe Bandy.
Skeeter's voice is so sweet. 😍
Love Skeeter Davis absolutely should be in Country Music Hall Of Fame.
Skeeters version is killer but suzy boggus stil does it best
Skeeter DAVIS, not Skeeter Davies. Love the song and Skeeter 🎤👏🏻🥰‼️
Outstanding job but i still think suzy boggus version was the best
Ian Tyson (of "Ian & Sylvia") wrote 'Someday Soon'.
Someone please save that cat with a tail under the rocker. No wonder I've never heard of her. Awful
Never heard of her. Sounds like Dolly
The song is not by Judy Collins. It was written by Ian Tyson from Alberta Canada and preformed it with his wife Sylvia Tyson. I think that was in '65 or '67. Their's was a better version then Skeeter Davies or Judy Collins.
God I loved that Lady.....RIP
Skeeter sure had a great voice. So pure, so natural
Skeeter was a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice.
Very few modern singers would throw themselves in front of an audience like this. Grabs the host’s mic and sings. So refreshing.
Skeeter Davis songs always filled the air any time i entered into my aunty's sitting room. I was a about 10 years and that was over 30 years now. My aunty is late now and i do remember her anytime i play Skeeter's songs. It just tells me that i would be dead and gone someday too. My aunty is gone and so is Skeeter too.
Crystal Gayle has a great version
I hate the censorship. Only religious pricks and assholes say "darned" It's like repairing socks. Sorry this is terrible
I have been listening to Skeeter David since before I was ten years old and to me she is definitely one if not the best female country singers and beautiful, too. Her duets with Bobby Bare are matchless, unforgettable. Why is she not in the Country Hall of Fame?
Skeeter didn't know this song was written by Ian Tyson. She thought that Judy Collins wrote it.
Skeeter Davies.... there's a name l haven't heard in a long time. What an incredible voice and cover. Thanks for posting it.
Butifull cousin
Good job, but susey bogus owns this one.
Impossible to mess up this standard. Skeeter doesn't.
Good sung but the musical accompaniment could have been better (I mean the reduced chord changes and especially the downgoing bassline is missing)
Thanks for the info on what was not right here
Angelic
Forever skeeter !!!❤❤❤
Ian Tyson wrote it and had it out. But Judy Collins had a great cut. So did Suzy Boggus and Moe Bandy. Skeeter was one of the sweetest Christian lady’s that ever lived and I miss her.
What an AMAZING LADY. She was beautiful in every way 💜 I would love to have been in that audience. Glad we have UA-cam. 😊
I'm not so sure she fits this song, but I love her song, the end of the world.
Wow a awesome singer so gorgeous to a real country gal 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️🌹💕🇺🇸💐
This is written by Ian Tyson.. he n Suzy Boggus sing this beautifully as well
Moe Bandy had a hit on it too
My elder brother make me fall in love with Skeeter Davis songs from the 70s. Her songs are too emotional. ~ 2023.
Band is playing the wrong chords.

A while back I had a chance to perform on a Grand Ole Opry Show in which one of the performers was Skeeter. I had a chance to meet her and enjoyed her singing very much.
Always loved this song! My favorite version is by Lynn Anderson... timeless
Agreed. Lynn Anderson's version sounded much better.
I love not only her fantastic rendition of this great song, but also who she is as a person. She seems so good-natured, and innocent and child-like, I feel younger and freer just watching how joyful and sweet she is.
Great! What a beautiful interpretation of this wonderful song!
Thanks for the Skeeter Davis songs that takes me back to memory lane. I've been listening to her songs since 1966 when I was in form one in the high school. I'm now 70 years and I still listen to her songs.
Skeeter Davis, loved her “End of the World” song.
song is by Iqn tyson
Written by Ian Tyson.Same guy who wrote Four Strong Winds, and Summer Wages.
It still happens too frequently, someone covers a song and is attributed as writer. Glad there's folks on here who've reminded us it was written by the great Ian Tyson. Skeeter Davis was one of the first artists I got to see live, and not even particularly a country fan. She has an honest and stunning voice. My favorite of hers is "I Forgot More Than You'll Ever Know About Him." She sure can sing these heartbreak songs!
You're right about Four Strong Winds, but Gorden Lightfoot wrote Summer Wages, but they're both awesome songs, regardless!
@@David-pd8li Hmm.I think you're confusing Ian's Summer Wages and Gordon's Summertime Dream.Ian Tyson wrote Summer Wages.Sylvia said it was her favorite song written by her husband.
@@David-pd8li Summer Wages was written by Ian Tyson, NOT Lightfoot.
Let's give credit to the great Ian Tyson who wrote this song.!
Exactly, not written by Judy Collins.
Oops SKeeter - Judy Collins didn't write this beautiful ballad... Ian Tyson did.
What a beautiful version of this iconic song, she was such a natural and delightful performer👏👏👏
Honest, genuine, authentic, brave and beautiful singing from a legend. Skeeter love, always.
