What a delightful❤️ Saturday morning walk - 7 miles/ 625 ft ascent - 30.11.2024
At 9:30, we met as an eager group of hikers at The Painswick Golf Club car park.
We started promptly, heading toward the farmland and soaking in the calmness of the Painswick Valley.
It was wonderful to contemplate the Painswick stream, which is known to flow into the River Frome in Stroud. We walked all the way to Cranham and returned over the Painswick Beacon via Buckholt Wood.
The company was enjoyable within a pleasant and safe atmosphere. The eveng organiser was an excellent host.
Despite the muddy and slippery conditions, the weather was great.
At the end of the adventure, we stopped by the newly opened Golf Club café for a wonderful group lunch. The food was delicious 😋.
