The Exorcist read by Sir Christopher Lee - (1994)
I sometimes wonder if he was entirely human. So much done, so many incredible skills!
3:08:23 'Pennifer clenched her hand on the doorhandle and purposefully unlatched it. Extensively augmented. Pennifer surreptitiously scrutinizies Rudolph. A notorious uncle within his stalemated face, now canopied thick scratch marks all over. Filter through seeped regurgitation onto his robe. Both Rudolph's arms and legs are tightened by double-edged straps. In which, his own son suggested that he's thrown the sheets off the covers. "I'm a friend of Bridget's kids." Pennifer reminded, her tone softened. She walked over to the dresser, pulled up a soft chair, and relocates it next to the bed. "They've told me you haven't fully recovered." '
I can't believe I just found this.
2:58:00 totally not another bookmark.
First time listening to the book after watching the movie countless times. Now I must read/ listen to the unabridged version.
We should all be so lucky to believe.
This book is incredible and Christopher Lee is why I'm here ^_^ but how dedicated the doctors are to finding a solution is so kind it's nearly unbelievable.
Christopher Lee asked the demon "Whom do you serve?"
Having heard the author's rendition, I struggled after Lee did Regan's voice shouting and imperative, which sounded also like an exclamative. "F___k me!"... I definitely found Blatty's more authentic - especially when slowed a tad, because he spoke pretty quickly...
1:55:30 totally not a bookmark.
1:35:20 Damn, stuff getting serious.
The demon will lie to us to confuse us. He will mix lies with fact to attack us.
Hold on... Blatty himself reads The Exorcist and the video is over 10 hours long... and this one is only 5:21:21 long??? Does Lee skip chapters?
It's either abridged or the video is cut somewhere
How is it Sir Christopher Lee says some smutty things in this, and yet make them sound so classy and sophisticated? Lol
Good upload, thanks - better quality sound than the other version I have tried
@5:09:00 That's an error. Lee is doing Pazuzu's gravelly modulated voice BUT it's Damien Karras' dialogue.
Yes, that was irritating.
‘the Kurd stood looking like an awaiting death’.
A great read but his demon voice is comical. I wish he would have done it differently.
the eggs or cist
His Kinderman is incredible. He’s got a range that I wasn’t even aware he was capable of. I guess when casting wanted Christopher Lee, they typically wanted the booming voice, and imposing demeanor.
So Good !
Is Dooku/Saruman Reading The Exorcist i mean Regan McNeil?
Excellent
Shame this is abridged, I do wish it had the entire novel.
8:10
Love his Raegan voice
Well Done! 🤗
2:07
Great book! And movie should have one best picture of 1973

🤣🤘😂
What a great. Movie and hammer dracula to read it long live Linda Blair regan
8:51 🔖 Thank you!
I don't want to hear him swear. I'll stick with the authors own reading.
If the occasional crackling and distortions in the audio are suppose to scare me, it's working.
😰😭😂
Same
It’s just like playing your worn out cassette tape as a kid.
dear God! this is phenomenal!!
if i ever have a daughter i'll name her Nixon 😌
Tremendous

I never thought I’d love listening to this book being read by Count Dooku. This man is a legend!
Just brilliant. Sir Christopher is magical! It's so sad that we're losing all of our legends but they'll be going to the big theatre in the sky!!
Christopher Lee is a bad man 👏👍👍👍
Finally someone pronouncing the word Ouija correctly!
Does anyone else hear tapping while listening to this or is it just me?
Book of The Sith
I thank God for You. Love, Light, Peace, Music and Joy
2:23:00 💀💀💀
I'm halfway through and just realized this is the abridged version... Am I missing anything great?
seen the movie loads but after listing to christopher lee read the book i dont see it as a horror anymore i see it as a supernatural murder mystery
The story is many things; both of those examples included. They are not mutually exclusive.
I wish every audiobook is a Christopher lee audiobook...but it's not and reality is painful.
