👍🏼👍🏼
Nice Gladiator build. Nano Bam is a great motor from what I've seen. I liked the vid and subbed. Looking forward to seeing more stuff. Cheers!
Thank you so much!
Check mofo rc
👍
Looks stock
I wanted to keep it fairly stock appearing
Are u considering selling it
Not really, but everything has price lol
Man I keep coming back, that low speed is insane, does it have a jump when transitioning from low to mid speed or is it linear
There is a slight jump in the transition. Hopefully, I get this video wrapped up by this weekend. Just got to film the talking parts and up close shot. Super impressed with this esc and motor combo
@ 👍
Video will be live in under 8 hours. Jump to around 9 minutes if you want to skip the talking bits and just see the running footage.
Awesome video! Tires look great, what foams/inserts are you using...
Thank you! Im running just the foams that came with the baja pro x tires. I want to do inserts on it soon.
Very nice truck!!!😎💯👍👍👍
Thank you, it's a fun little truck for indoors
i oprdered the full kit with motor, do you know where to find a pinion or should I get a motor like yours?
You could try mofo rc, they should have a pinion for it. That was the main thing that held me up from using that motor. I also didn't realize the pinion is pressed fit for most of these. I am really happy with the mofo rc nanoBAM motor, plus you can have them install the pinion if you don't want to mess with pressing it on yourself.
@@TurbochargedHobbies nano b am alright thanks i guess im going to leave the hobbywing motor as a backup lol
@Danielxperez14 The motors are pretty cheap too. It definitely doesn't hurt to have an extra. I'm sure it will find a home in something eventually. Should have a real video up on this truck here pretty soon. I have to see if I got enough footage today.
@@TurbochargedHobbies yea hopefully, thanks again for the info man
@@Danielxperez14 no problem
Check the spur gear and make sure it’s meshed correctly and not missing teeth. Secondly you can disconnect the servo shift arm and manually push in the transmission shift lever and see if that helps.

That's awesome, got to love a tmaxx
I just installed the Meus brass offered for the optic on mine with j concept ruptures and it was worth it so far also used my factory shoulder screws on the front spindles .
I just recently tried meus for the first time on my scx24. I'm extremely impressed by them. I will have to look into what parts they offer for H10. Ruptures are amazing!
Awesome video this was our first time also from sc and will be back how do you like the Scx6
I absolutely love the SCX6, such a fun trail truck. They are having Rocktober here in a few weeks there, I plan on going
@@TurbochargedHobbies I was wanting to go but they are having squatchs fall crawl in Troy nc it’s closer but definitely gonna hit btc25 for sure I have upgraded my fleet since may so I definitely will have some rigs at btc 25 a scx 6 has been on my list especially when I told the wife I could mix my hobby with cutting our grass ! lol what mods do you recommend
@Littlemountaincrawlers servo, wheels/tires, and shock towers are a good start. That is basically what was on mine in the video. The front axle shafts are known to have the pins work their way out. Some people put a small spot weld on the pin to keep that from happening. They do get pretty expensive fast lol
@@TurbochargedHobbies well that’s a great start on info for me I don’t mind the $ as long as I have fun and when I have fun full beans might happen thanks for the info ! Happy trailing
@Littlemountaincrawlers no problem and same to you. Thank you for watching and commenting
I know all about ADHD 😂
Yea, you definitely know all about my ADHD ass lmfao
I do have some sad news to report. The old first edition xbox finally spun its last disc. Can't get it to play any games now😢. Been using my wife's Xbox now
@@TurbochargedHobbies 😢
@@lVl1GGL3 I still have it and the box, not ready to write it completely off lol
@@TurbochargedHobbies maybe give into you're ADHD and try to fix it?
🆒 video, & ℹ️ have 5️⃣ Traxxas Tmaxx .1️⃣5️⃣ 🤑👍🏼🛻🏁
would you ever consider selling it?
Maybe one day but currently I want to hold on to both
That looks like a solid 25 - 30 mph wow
I just got my old e maxx running. I wasnt sure if the evx was going to handle 4s lipo so i just got a hobbywing 880 esc. Its an AWESOME esc. Absolutely perfect for this truck. Strapped in a couple 2s lipos and this truck is outstanding. The ancient 550 motors are holding up really well on 4s. I filled the shocks up with a 50/50 mixture of 50% 5w-30 motor oil and lucas oil additive. You can drop the thing from 4 feet and it dampens it beautifully. Love this truck man. I dont want to break it
I need to get one of them 880's a try myself
@TurbochargedHobbies they're super nice. Alot more compact too than the evx and evx-2. They don't come with a fan though but a 1 inch fan screws into the heat sink almost perfectly
Is that the castle mx2 w/ 1100kv motor?
It's a mamba monster 2 and 2200kv
you got skill 🤩super cool crawler
Thank you!
I'm in the process of restoring one ✌️
I know an RC that would make this trail look like childs play. I can guarantee it too. The Traxxas Summit.
It's not a super rough trail, pretty easy with the scx6. I don't think they would want super tough trails at a public event. Don't need a bunch of people getting hurt.
Next event is in October, come show me what that rig can do. Not like I own a bunch of full independent suspension trucks already.......... oh wait i have a bunch them as well. how much is your guarantee worth? I like to gamble
@@TurbochargedHobbies I know for sure because i have the SCX6, TRX4, SCX 10 ll, and the Summit. The Summit is a "1/10" scale and it can climb a cinder block like it is nothing.
@SebastianLong well you showing up then correct? $100 said you can't pull the lines my scx6 does. Why is all the full size crawler solid axle? Name 1 competitive crawler that is independent suspension......I'll wait
@@TurbochargedHobbies Damn. You are butthurt for what reason. I told you i have both the SCX6. Honcho edition in fact. I also have the Summit. I know which performs better because i own both. Im not saying i dont like the SCX6, because i do. The Summit just performs better on the rocks, excluding no instant forward/reverse with the system i currently have in it. My SCX6 has a Hobbystar 70kg servo and the Proline Super Swamper SX. My Summit has a Mamba Monster 2 and a Power HD servo.
This is my first nitro n I had similar issues recently after bringing it back to life, got stuck in nuetral and also reverse, so i just locked it into drive. No reverse at the moment. Now my only issue is i keep stalling out lol 😭 i have to find the right way to tune it so im told.
Tuning nitro's is an art form lol, still trying to get better myself
@@TurbochargedHobbies I see 😵💫 lol. Any advice with the prep as far as on or off ground? I've heard never tune it with the wheels off the ground. I've also been told (and have seen) it may have runaways and just take off lol
@Ohh_Is_That_Sooo... I normally tune with it on the ground. Your best bet is to look up tuning videos for your engine. Make sure you let the engine get up to temp before tuning, temp gun can be very useful. Traxxas engines are known to be a pain to tune. From my experience, losi and dynamite engines are easier to get tuned vs any of the traxxas nitro's I have ran.
@@TurbochargedHobbies Yep I'm starting to see that lol.. much appreciated 🫡
Grate Rc Car Nice Off Road Driving Good Luck...!
Thank you!
gave you a subb, to see more of your videos :-)
Thank you, gave you a sub as well
@@TurbochargedHobbies Thank you, I hope you like our content 🙂
@@RCTeamAustria I know I will, I love RC content!
nice one!
Thank you!
i love my bomber, fusion pro, 2 speed, playstation type controller, 4 wheel steer makes that thing almost unbeatable
Sounds freaking sweet. I have thought about doing rear steer on mine. Thank you for the comment!
Great video. One of the best scx6 trailing videos i have seen👍
Thank you so much. I put a lot of effort into getting some decent footage. I'm glad you enjoyed it
I’ve been going make this trip three years in a row,,and I’ve backed out every time but I have make it down and play with all you awesome guys! ❤😊
I almost didn't go because of the rain this year. I'm so glad that I decided to go anyway!
cool video
Thank you
Awesome footage of BTC. The creek looks like it wasn't easy to walk on. Great video 👍🏾💯
There are a few times I almost fell trying to film lol. Thank you for the comment
Way to work that truck out I’m sure it was a work out for you as well thx for sharing hope can make more cool vids
Thank you for the comment. It was a pretty decent workout for us both. Ended up doing 26k steps or just over 11 miles in the 2 days, and I also did over 30 floors of stairs. I was pretty exhausted by Sunday. I did just post a 2nd video from this trip with my bomber.
Somone must have broke the bridge on trail 1 because it definitely wasn't like that when we did it on day 2
The curvy bridge? I didn't really check it out Saturday because there was a line back to the hill climb spot waiting to go across. Think the bomber would have done alright if it wasn't wet in that spot on the bridge
@TurbochargedHobbies yeah somone must have broke the curvy bridge definitely wasn't hanging that low when we did it
Question; -- is there any tool, slim edged enough, to slip under the rounded " mound" on the side of the rivet, as you would in getting the claw side of a hammer under a nail head, to pull a nail out? Or the forked side of a small crowbar, to get under that mound and pull it off with leverage? It will scratch any finish, but if scratching doesnt matter, will the claw leverage pulling up, work on a pop rivet, or not? I'm taking apart a set of collapsing camping chairs with wrecked fabric seats. Made of tubular pipes with pop rivets. I have a short crowbar, 3 claw hammers, every drill bit size (from smallest to 1/2 inch), multiple kinds of needlenose, and diagonal nippers, several vise grips, and righthanded, lefthanded and center tin snips. Every video i've watched, takes off the mounded side first, never the back side. Do i have to go and buy a set of rivet removers? Or do i have enough tools with what i already have?
In your case, I would probably just drill them out. The only reason I didn't use a drill was that I wanted to be extra careful with the expensive new rear fenders.
LST Time!
I have fallen love with the lst trucks
I still have my original 3906 that I got as a 13 year old kid back in Xmas of 2001… I still have it and still going strong 💪 parts are becoming a little tricky to get I must admit but their still around. Bearings etc things like that I just get from my local industrial bearing shop…
Most stuff is still pretty easy to find. The original bodies and the narrow arm stuff are getting pretty rare. Definitely hold on to that gem!
Couldnt you just use small bolts/nuts instead of pop rivets? Rivets are so annoying to work with at least for me lol
Yes, that could absolutely work as well. I just wanted that oem look on mine with rivets. Definitely annoying to work with lol
Hey, thanks for the video. Just swapped out my new Xmaxx connectors on the esc to IC5.
I'm glad you liked it. Thank you for the comment
I enjoyed this video! Very informative. I’m new to the tmaxx and I’ve been building a tmaxx for my cousin which is going to be his first nitro. I can’t wait to see that LST diff tmaxx. New subscriber.
Thank you, I greatly appreciate it.
Post more kmaxx magneto vids im currently building one as well an need some ideas.
Most definitely, I will be posting more on it soon.
Honestly a big airfilter, and stainless exhaust is all that it would ever need
My emaxx has Sat for a long time and I have finally decided to bring it back to life but finding a body for the short emaxx is frustrating. I would like to keep the original chase. I upgrade to the wide arms years ago when I got a tmaxx 3.3 just so all the parts were intergsngable. I want to make the truck the way I wanted it when I was a kid. I got the truck new when I was 15 and have had it ever sence. Any info on a good simeler stile body the right size would be great. I'm looking forward to more old maxx info and content. A history of the platform video would be awesome.
Unfortunately, there aren't a ton of short body options. Finding a good condition 3906 original body will cost big bucks. You can still find aftermarket short bodies on eBay. Also, some of the emaxx groups will have bodies from time to time. Centralemaxx on Facebook is my favorite maxx group. It is aimed more at the high-end supermaxx builds, but a lot bodies show up there. I definitely plan to do more videos on the vintage maxx stuff, I love all the maxx trucks. I greatly appreciate the comment
I made a short showing you another cheap option using a tmaxx body
What tires?
Proline hyrax's with crawler innovation dual stage foams
Great effort!
Crazy thing is im changing my ESC to IC5 (Because EC5 is too much hassle). IF a time comes where i want something else, it will have to wait till i get a max6
🤟❤️🇺🇲
Nice truck I have a 2.5 t -maxx I conversion I building it Ben a nice build
Love to hear more people building brushless tmaxx's. Really need to do a new video on this truck. If you have tictok, I have a video there showing the current setup.
