Really? I thought all weaponry was equal to everyone. It looked to me like these tomes should be place on uhh... that island with two "mountains". Between the two mountain thingies there's a table with black/red glowing sockets that would seem to fit these tomes, but I wasn't going to risk testing that 😅

@@magsical Hahahahh you reminded me a moment when I while playing with a guy, we couldn't decide where to sell one special chest. He was trying to swim away from me with a chest. And I was chasing him on our ship. To make it more fun, ship was fully destroyed and in flames. That was a bathing in chaosXD

I think they quickly realized I'm a total noob and decided to save me ship. I laughed so hard when they said they need to borrow (read: commandeer 😂) to take down the Reaper ship. I totally forgot I could launch from the cannon onto the ship and swam my stupid ass over there. "Kill the skeletons" Took me a while before I realized they meant the ones manning their cannons. They then proceeded to take the loot safely for a quick sell, again, my stupid ass not realizing they meant all of it. I didn't want to "steal" their loot. And when we got to the Reaper's Hideout, we were tailed by and combating a Brigantine. And they probably figured out they too were French and made friends 😂 This has hands down been my best Sea of Thieves experience yet. But they must've facepalmed so many times watching me trying to do my best 😅 Very happy I chose to go High Seas day 1.

@@raiyankhan8560 Enjoying myself so far! I accidentally got myself into the dungeon with the star signs. So satisfied I solved it without looking it up 😁 Not that it was Myst-level difficulty, but still.

@@magsical as a beginner, the feeling of "not knowing " gives a memorable experience in the seas.. Though eventually.. You'll need help

@@gary2011able yup, a lot more skill based. Its a pity I have to be near a ship hole to hear the water flooding in, although I know one hit equals one hole 😅 But its easy to forget in the midst of battle. i find it super hard to maintain a heading where I can fire cannon balls, and I’ve no sense of the trajectory yet

@@Amaladenfer666 High seas closed crew is my go-to. I’ve only tried safer seas once testing solo Brigantine. Not doing that again 😂 (the solo Brigantine that is). Maybe its a newbie thing? Maybe it triggers to give me the experience at least once

@@magsical also dont anchor yo do not want to be a sitting duck during pvp you can do it in certain situations but genrally you want to avoid being a duck

@@snek1744 Yeah I’ve come to realize that 😂 Was going for a Sparrow hand brake maneuver to no avail. I’ve also learned to not anchor but time raising sails when going to port. Only anchored when spawning now.

After 1300 hours of Skull and Bones, it's certainly different. However I only have like 10-14 hours in SoT. I enjoy them both. I feel more pirates in SoT, and the sailing is much more satisfying in SoT, but the gameplay is miles ahead in SnB. But like I said, I only have a few hours in SoT, not enough to make a proper decision. However, I've been thrown overboard by a seamonster, eaten by a Kraken, half eaten by a shark.

Think it's a Personal contract, like The Bastion , but I can't see how that contract is available now, and if it was from the Bounty board in Season 2, I thought it would expire. Oh well, it was fun fighting him again 😅

A lot of people have an aversion to PVP in any form. One said he doesn't like the stress of it, and I can respect that, but I think people should open up to it, dip their toes and have fun. I have fun even when I lose.

I know the rope breaks if you drift too far, but I was nowhere far enough for that. My guess is a server issue.
