Yes, total none event. Happens on the roads all the time, people make errors, you just lay off the gas a second and everyone carries on with their lives. I've never seen Jeremy cycling before and I honestly expected better from someone high profile and meant to have a modicum of intelligence. Ashley, because you said you are testing for streaming we do hear some small sound issues here. An echo because your mic is picking up your speakers. Also the mic setup sounds a bit "roomy". A mic closer to you (so you can turn the gain down for more of you, less of the room reflections), with headphones for monitoring would help the sound quality a lot. Otherwise, it's a nice setup.

To think my taxes go towards paying Vine's wages boils my ****! Furthermore his nonsense makes cycling less safe for me and all the other normal people who cycle as he is deliberately driving a 'them and us' agenda. To be honest ,theres a very busy dual carridgeway near where i live and if im approaching the crossing and i can see that thers a slightly larger gap in the traffic.....i will make sure i fit in that gap.....yes its dangerous,it saves me having to wait for the lights at the crossing and it doesn't spoil the flow

There are cycle paths why DONT cyclists use them , where I live there is a country road and a cycle path but every weekend you see the idiots riding 3 abreast on the ROAD , if us car drivers drove on the cycle path we would be arrested so why aren’t the cyclists that ride on the road , I have pointed out to many that the cycle path is for their safety and all I got back was abuse

1. I'm with you. Genuine mistake by the HGV driver or Jeremy was still covered by the bus when he started pulling out. The reprimand horn to "wake" the driver up, hopefully he would look twice next time. Jeremy made too much of it. 2. As a cyclist and a driver, I hate it when people ignore traffic lights and other laws. My brother was hit by a cyclist running a red light in London. Luckily he is built like the proverbial brick out-house. The cyclist bounced off him, my brother picked up the bike and threw it at the post box at the side of the road. I've shouted idiot a few times, but generally keep my mouth shut. The one I really did scream was "LIGHTS" to a cyclist out of town on an unlit road, he was weaving back and forth across the cycle path, wearing dark clothes at night, with no lights and no reflectors. Having seen your driving videos until now, I was pleasantly surprised how objective your views were, compared to many of the reaction videos that Jeremy and Mikey seem to provoke from others.

Loving the cycling videos , as for a video regarding secondary and primary position I'd like it aimed at motorists explaining why we take up these positions as I get beeped at especially when I take up primary at pedestrian refuges .Keep the videos coming

It was mentioned that this is NCN route 62. I rode the Trans Pennine Trail (Southport to Hornsea) in 2019. The loop around Liverpool (north to south) was a disused railway line. From memory most of it was unsurfaced. If this is the same track it is now a major improvement. I enjoy your videos Ashley, some of your comments and terminology remind me of my uncle (long since passed) who was a professional driver all his adult life: Army, trolley buses, driving instructor and finally examiner.

You do a lot more to encourage cycling than Mr. J. Vine, but get a bell and avoid roundabouts.

Once you have a road bike it's addictive I find. A good ride would be asking the East Lancs to Crank. Mostly a cycle track but the section by Electric Avenue heading to Kirkby is busy and being in primary position at those big junctions is crucial. I ride that route a lot for training on the hills around Crank and Parbold.

When I started out on a road bike last year I found my back ached for my first few rides, I worked out it was all down to my posture and needed to relax my shoulders and not slouch my back to prevent it. After realising that the bike got progressively more comfortable without adjustment.

The only thing about saying to people out loud your passing is you will say it in a loud tone because you have the wind rushing past your ears, And a walker will get spooked a little. It happens all the time to me when walking on the shared path. I prefer a bell ring x3
