❤ Thanks for sharing, as well as the music sheet. Always enjoy your videos. I am in a recently established uke group, where strum pattern is stressed often. I have great trouble playing a particular strum pattern all the way through a song, as well as trying to sing at the same time. It throws me off from singing if I have to concentrate on whether I am strumming d,d,u,u,d,u etc. Are you both concentrating on playing the island strum in this song ? I tend to just feel the music and hear the song in my head as I play. Finding it frustrating being in a group, worrying about a strum pattern,when it should be fun. I have a good sense of timing and rhythm, and I know at least one other player in the group who feels the same. We never sound out of time, though our strum patterns are not exactly the same as the rest of the group. Feedback appreciated Thank you.
