Keep 'em Wet

From Rocky Mountain Flycasters (TU chapter): The best way to keep fish safe is to keep them in the water. If you lift them up for a photo, don't keep them out of the water for more than 3-5 seconds. Tight lines everyone! And check out our website and the Poudre Headwaters Project to reintroduce the endangered Greenback Cutthroat Trout at rmftu.org

@@ursnmark Thanks. Is it by the bridge? A climber said there are good routes by it. I'm planning on a road trip near there.

@@caleng5136 Sorry, I should have been more specific. We crossed the bridge going west, and then took the 1st or 2nd dirt road to the left, and drove toward the canyon - lots of good flat camping spots. Then my son scoped out the place where we rappelled. We were able to hike out using a little slot canyon - same spot where we rappelled in. Hope this helps?

Trout are so beautiful I love the way they look and I feel so outdoorsy when you go out and fish them usually in the woods somewhere it’s most peaceful kind of fishing to me I love doing it I do it on my channel all the time probably one of my favourites even though bass just fight like hell I like fishing trout just as much or more

1976, I was eight years old heading to the Teton river to fish. The radio in my father's truck didn't work so we took a battery powered transistor radio. Lucky for us. Made it as far as Rexburg when an emergency report came on the radio about the Teton dam busting. Fishing was never the same!!! Caught some hugh fish over the years fishing the Snake river right where your video highlighted. Small flies, big fish. Nothing better!!!!

@MantheyFlyFishing We fished the east side by the campground, got skunked there. Moved to the north side near the boat ramp- nada there. Then hiked about 10 minutes to the south, and fished right into the teeth of the wind. I got a hit on my first cast, and we really nailed the fish! What a fun afternoon. Caught em from 3-6 pm. Mostly on olive damsel nymphs, and an olive streamer or leech pattern about size 10, or size 8. Also on any black pattern.
