@@johnjoseph7069 im running a stock 79cc Lifan, the one that Home Depot sells, not the ones that gass bikes sells. I have the governor bypass, I also have the air filter cover taken off with a very thin sponge as a filter, just enough that nothing big can get in. I have a flexible poo poo exhaust on it with a fiberglass wrap. In the front I have a RockShox Judy fork, with Race Face mountain bike handlebars. I have the 10 spoke bikeberry motorized bicycle mags. I have Panaracer Fire mountain bike tires with the red stripes on the side. I upgraded the rear brake to a Shimano V brake. On the bicycle side I change the Freewheel from an 18 tooth to a 16 tooth. I can help it out now to about 30 miles per hour. On the engine side, I had a 36 tooth with the original engine, I was doing 37 mph on the flats but was struggling a little bit on the Hills. Then i went with the Home Depot motor and went down to a 40 tooth, now it only tops at 35mph, but it crushes most of the hills in New Hampshire and Maine.

@@mjsmjs7905 Hells yeah dude that's awesome! Sounds like you built yourself up a really fun bike. Good choice on the engine too, they really are great, reliable little engines. 35mph is definitely still a respectable speed. Don't get me wrong, I love going fast, but I think have a good torquey setup like yours is a lot more fun and usable overall. That was the one problem with this mostly stock Phatmoto setup. I did remove the governor, but it still struggles a little on takeoff and going up hills. You have to hit them at WOT to make it up without having to assist it by pedaling. I can't remember the tooth count on the stock rear sprocket. I want to say it's something like 56 tooth maybe.

@@johnjoseph7069, I still have to give it a little help on the big hills, but it minimal. Seem like the Home Depot motor has a little more torque then the stock motor, but that might just be dumb luck. Not sure what the stock gear is on the 20 model. The 19 comes with a 50, but the 19 is geared lower, it has a bigger jackshaft gear.

@@mjsmjs7905 possible, might have just gotten one that's every so slightly better, or maybe the Home Depot ones do have something a little different about them. Yeah you're right though, it's a 50 tooth on this one too, not sure about the jackshaft gear though. I put a nicer Hilliard Extreme Duty clutch on it for him, that's got a 13T on it. Believe stock has a 12t?

Nice! I think you'll really like them. It wouldn't hurt to go in and add a little more bass when you're editing, but for the most part it sounds good on its own

Lol if you're into these bikes you definitely have. I've had it up on my other channel for a few months now, but I've changed the main direction of that channel so I'm trying to move the bike and gear review stuff over to this one to help it off the ground. Bums me out that the video quality is so poor, but it's all I have of those bikes now
