John Allan Cameron called Dwayne Côté, "The best kept secret in Celtic Music". Dwayne was raised in Grande Greve, Cape Breton in a family deeply rooted in all aspects of Cape Breton, Irish and Scottish music traditions.

Small Halls Tuesday June18/13 Poor vid but the audio is decent.
I see Archie Neil is sitting back enjoying the tunes.
Thank you Howie. This video is the perfect add to Sunday breakfast tea…..especially that strathspey at about 6:00. Now that you have properly fortified me I am ready to resume my fight with my snowblower.
My father would throw up his hands like a conductor, you don't get any better than that, Howie and Dwayne in perfect sinque.
Talent 😂🎉
Deserves mores than one comment even if its nonsense, Nice to see a new generation playing so well
So who is playing the piano? So good!
Minors and flats, Cape Breaton style, wouldn't want to try and follow you.
Keep each one on the edge of seat, wondering which tune your going to pull into next. You guys and gal's know so many tunes.
PERFECTION.
Tulagorum!!!
Two fine fiddlers
in response to joanne my father played the fiddle for years and the rosin didn't hurt him or the ( fiddle )
I can’t count the number of times I have listened to this! The best!!
Same here...
Couple fine fiddle players
The video is fine and the performance is excellent. Someone* sent me this link who had also sent me for a performance by Coig, a Celtic group from Nova Scotia in which this man is a member. What that woman did in passing this banjo on to another player was truly generous. Musical instruments are meant to be ENJOYED by the performers, their companion musicians and their audiences! *...and when I re-read the email with the link, I realized the sender of the link was the one who gave Darren her grandfather's banjo!
Cape Breton fiddlers are incredible!!!! Check out UA-cam - Rodney MacDonald Plays For Cape Breton.
Hi Howie...hope all is well..Thanks and Your Fantastic...your fan Michael.
As one
Fabulous and sounds like one fiddler! Love it
I'd being a guitar player could problably lay a couple of tracks down
What camera did you use here? I can't get over how seamless and smooth the bowing looks as compared to all other youtube videos. Please share! Great in low light as well!!
Great playing! What is the tune at 9:59?
The Normaway Inn's Red Barn is the best! David MacDonald picked me up hitchhiking at the Pictou Rotary back in '98, just off the PEI ferry, and promised me an experience I'd never forget. Indeed, I never did. Dancing and flipping, pretty sure my back is still tweaked from the thrill of it. One day, hopefully soon, I shall return.
¡Cuanto talento!
6:40...the best tune ever...
This is a tribute to Winston Scottie Fitzgerald...the greatest fiddler of all time...
wow
this is my favorite video ever!!!!
I agree, !!!
Great duet guys! (7 days to Celtic Colours :)
Oh...& by the way-> Awesome fiddling here! ; D
Fer gawd's sake Howie... Wipe the rosin off your fiddle! (Don't ya know that it will wreck the varnish?!)
Gorgeous.....What is the name of the tune?
First Coilsfield House G Maj
lovely tunes and beautifully played !
