Yes a good voice but....hes just singing the notes (very fast) and is NOT telling the story, as if the dinner is waiting and he wanna leave as quick as pos.
I saw the 2016 show and he was amazing. His is the best version I’ve heard tbh
Sorry although he has a good voice but he just sings it. He doesn't appear to have the acting capabilities that Danny Mac has in the role. I met someone outside the New Wimbledon Theatre who told me she much preferred Danny in the show.
I saw him several times performing the role. This video is not a particularly good version. For one thing, it seems very fast. Not sure why. His version in the theater was electric. (and of course- his performing it in a Speedo was pretty amazing).
Always hard to judge acting performances when they’re out of the show, stood at an upright mic and singing a number out of its context within the show. And very difficult for the performer, too. He was brilliant, acting-wise, in the show.
