It does absolutely the way I found to be true is the service for others when you start serving others besides yourself then your life begins work for me and my life 52 years old and it works. I have so much gratitude to still be here I shouldn’t. I shouldn’t be here still I’ve had, half a dozen second chances, my life did not go in vain. I’ve been clean and off the streets for 32 years I have found redemption. I don’t know any of the Bible, but I’ve lived it in the Bible. Seems like I’ve been walking parallel lines with Christianity. I wasn’t always a good person. I have a lot of trauma that I’m still dealing with. Yeah, I’m a little screwed up like everyone just trying to find my way to the best path I can do and living my truth. All the doors opened up for me in life. I could cry because I’m so happy inside. I’ve been all the odds and I know now that I was never alone. All I have is gratitude for the opportunity to change my life for the better

In terms of boundaries, the first big clue that I was dealing with a toxic pastor was when he was harassing me while I was at work to pick up another Christian during my lunch break… in another town… to take her to an event. I ended up saying no emphatically. It really irritated me
