Blessource 4 in 1 PD Magnetic USB Charging Cable & 140 Watt Mac Book Pro Charge Adapter
Blessource reached out to me again, and asked if I would be willing to test and review their USB PD Magnetic Charging Cable. I wasn’t quite sure how I could test and review a USB charging cable, but I did come up with a few ideas on how to test it, but also how to improve the cable to make it an 8 in 1 instead of a 4 in 1.
If there is something that you would like for me to try using this cable, please let me know in the comments, and I will do my best to create a video for you to answer any questions/concerns that you may have.
If you like this type of video, please let me know in the comments about a subject you would like to discuss and I will do my best to create a video on that subject, or if you have a video idea for a DIY project, A review of a product or anything else, I will be happy to create that content as well.
Thanks for stopping by, and remember - find someone who needs to laugh, needs to smile, needs to cry, or just simply needs a friend - and make it happen ;).

      @@rainman1326 I just noticed this second comment, as I was about to suggest it may be a refresh problem, and was going to suggest taking out your card and re-insert it, but it seems you already tried something similar. It is weird but I was also thinking that a re-install might work, but thought there is no way it could be that simple, but I guess I was wrong. Glad to hear it finally worked for you, and also thankful that you commented on your fix, as the way you fixed your issue could help others having the same problem. 👍👍

    At one point, the pivothead video glasses were the only ones worth buying. The OhO so far seem to be good as long as you use a high framerate. I have found 108060 to be the best mid range setting.30 is too choppy. Let's face it. 4K is going to suck up a lot of space quickly. 50fps generally only applies to pal video system so I don't know why yours has that option. I just wish they had made the double click for photo and single for start and stop record. I have used a lot of rubbish over the years as well but these seem to be very good. You have made a very good detailed video.

      Thank you for your comment and thoughts, much appreciated. I agree that 1080P 50 would be the better option. 4k is not real in these so no need to use it as it would just use too much space like you say. These are very good for the price and pretty decent quality video. 👍

    check tvoc and mq-7 etc sensors. they are not fake also not accurate and they cant distinguish which gas is which. that is the reason when you put ethanol it also detects it they are mems or silicon based sensors. to read co2 exactly you need opto acoustic sensors.also to co you need to make sensor fusions. but it means they are totally fake. check how to read co2 with tvoc sensor for example of course it wont be so much accurate.

      Thank you for your question. I do not have an iPhone to test this, so no I do not know how to use this with an iPhone. Does anything at all happen when you plug it into to iPhone?. Are you using the cable that came with the glasses?. There may be an option in your usb settings to use the usb port for charging or data transfer. Would you recommend the Temtop M10+? It has basically CO2, PM2.5 and TVOC. It doesn’t have CO but I think that’s a sacrifice I can make since I don’t think there’s any source of CO in my house.

    • @Outside-In.
      @Outside-In. 8 днів тому

      TemTop was supposed to send me the M10+ for review but they decided not to, so I cannot recommend something that I have not tested. The M10+ is supposed to have a legitimate TVOC sensor so would recommend it over the M10 that does not have a legitimate sensor inside, but like I say, I cannot recommend a product that I have not tested, and I can't afford to make the purchase on my own. I wish I could be of more help. I do appreciate the comment and question.

    Great video!! Are there any concerns with leaving these sensors on all the time? Will it shorten their life?

    • @Outside-In.
      @Outside-In. 15 днів тому

      No it will not shorten the life of a sensor to leave it on all the time. Actually a sensor will go bad from not being used as quickly as it will using it, so you might as well use it as much as you can while you can. Most sensors have a shelf life of about 2 years, and some claim up to 10 years, but that is subjective. After a couple of years, a sensor will loose it's ability to register correctly, so it is a good idea to calibrate a monitor at least every three months or so - depending on how much you use it. The more you use a monitor, the more it should be calibrated, but probably not more than once a week, and more than likely, if you use a monitor 24/7, it should probably be calibrated once every two weeks.

    • @Outside-In.
      @Outside-In. 15 днів тому

      @@____Ann____ There is NOTHING about this fake monitor that I would trust, not even the particulates - NOTHING. I do not recommend anyone to buy the fake monitor. The yellow Smart Sensor CO meter is great, and as far as CO and CO2, those are the two MOST important readings to know, so I would not consider knowing particulates over knowing CO and CO2.

    • @Outside-In.

      @@DHEGRecords So I am assuming that now you are able to access the files on the glasses. If you have access to a pc, try to play the videos and photos on the pc to limit the problem of the black files to your chromebook. If it is only your chromebook that the files won't play on, then it sounds like a codec issue, and you will need to update your chromebook with the latest codecs. I hope this helps. Chromebook is based on Linux, and I am not up to speed on Linux these days, but I did find the following information. Not sure it will help much, but thought I would add it here just in case it may help... How do I transfer files from android to chromebook? OK I'll save you the trouble. Here's the directions everywhere; Unlock your phone. With a USB cable, connect your phone to your Chromebook. Unlock your phone. On your phone, tap the "Charging this device via USB" notification. Under "Use USB for," select File Transfer. On your Chromebook, the Files app opens. Use it to drag files. ... When you're done, unplug the USB cable. The only problem there's is no "Charging this device via USB" notification. I have an unlocked Pixel phone and an unlocked Lenovo CB. Plugging in the USB cable gives no notification, but it does say it's charging. I'm just trying to find an easy way to put pics from my phone to my laptop. @@Outside-In. thank you so much, this was very kind of you and I’m sure these instructions will help within the future for others who are confused. I did indeed end up fixing the problem; I had to push the cable ALL THE WAY into my glasses, sort of in a way that makes a snap sound but that’s apparently how it’s supposed to be. As far as the black screen goes it is indeed a Chromebook software error as both devices were probably not made too compatible with eachother. To fix this I just sent the files from my chromebook to my phone via email or google drive, my phone and every other device views them perfectly fine whereas my chromebook is just a black screen; not the worst scenario. • @B105CAFE
      @B105CAFE 23 години тому

      @@Outside-In. What I mean is that CO can "transition" into CO2. And on the contrary, CO2 can turn into CO. Usually, such a transition requires high temperatures (or catalysts) so that the "transition" is acceptable in time. But even at room temperature, these processes proceed, only rather slowly. Therefore, even in a "hermetically sealed jar", the concentrations of these two gases can "somehow" change. One to increase, and the other to decrease. But I do not know how fast this can happen... I just saw some kind of picture from a chemist with a graph of temperature and partial pressures of CO and CO2... I couldn't find it quickly now...

      @@B105CAFE Yes you are right, but it is something that has to be done intentionally and not by accident... Yes, carbon dioxide (CO2) can be converted into carbon monoxide (CO) through a chemical process, but this conversion requires significant energy input and is currently an area of active research to develop efficient methods to do so. Flour is Flour, and Cake is Cake, - but flour can be turned into a Cake if enough temperature and catalysts are applied. What I am saying is that Flour can not magically become a Cake unless it is done intentionally, and likewise CO2 cannot magically become CO unless it also is done intentionally, so not exactly sure the point you are trying to make. I guess it does make for interesting conversation though :).

    Hi got any recommendations for one that detects mold spores?

    • @Outside-In.
      @Outside-In. 22 дні тому

      There are no monitors on the market yet that detect mold. You can get a kit on Amazon. You buy the kit, follow the directions, send in the data, and they send you back a breakdown of your environment and possibility of mold or not. So far that is the only thing you can do for mold detection. You will want to make sure you keep your humidity in check as that is where mold comes from - high humidity on a regular basis. Hope this helps.

      @@Outside-In. I recently had friends over and they have been saying my room smells bad when my Aircon is turned on but I don't smell anything so maybe I've already gotten used to the smell. I have called someone and he washed my Aircon but the smell is still there and my friends said that judging from the smell it's probably mold. I have just looked up a test kit and found one called mold armour and I'm thinking of buying it. Saw a video of a guy saying I could just put a petri dish with some solution in a room then just wait a few days to see if mold grows on it. I'm not sure if I saw this on a trusted site but I think I saw them said that the particles detector could detect mold spores. Anyways great video. Saw the fake meter online and was planning to buy it. Thanks for saving me a few bucks

      @@idkname007 If you can keep your humidity at between 40 to 60%, you should be fine from mold beginning. Make sure also your filter/s for the AC is changed out to clean ones. Did your friends say the odor smelled like mold?, if so, you need to check your humidity in all your rooms and especially the basement as that is where mold is most likely to begin. The mold test will help, but just keep your humidity throughout the home at a good level so mold doesn't start.

    Are these units really CO2 sensors or are they eCO2 sensors which actually measure TVOC then assume that the only VOC in the air is bVOC ( VOC in exhaled air ). There is an assume proportional relationship between bVOC and bCO2 exhaled. So two important assumptions. Good test will be to breath after a glass of wine. If the CO2 is different you have a TVOC / eCO2 unit. If the CO2 is unchanged it is a true CO2 unit which will not care if you are drunk!!!

    • @Outside-In.
      @Outside-In. 25 днів тому

      These have real CO2 sensors inside not eCO2. eCO2 sensors are fake CO2 sensors, and I would not trust nor recommend them to anyone. Biogenic Volatile Organic Compounds (BVOCs) are volatile compounds that plants emit into the atmosphere. BVOC may also refer to Bachelor of Vocational Education, which is an undergraduate degree that qualifies graduates to become vocational teachers in public schools or trainers for private companies.

    I have watch all your videos on air quality monitors and have learnt at lot, however still confused on HCHO and TVOC? Is HCHO a measure of the floor boards carpets curtains etc and TVOC is a measure of paint fumes cooking stove? Could you add more to that list. Because I do have a budget and dont want to get too many monitors if HCHO is really the measure of the above than i’m not too fused about that measurement and i can do without it?

    • @Outside-In.
      @Outside-In. 26 днів тому

      The last I found, there are more than 10,000 VOC's, and TVOC is a reading of the total of VOC's in a given area (your home, office etc.)... There is no sensor available that will tell you what VOC is being detected - which in my humble opinion - makes the reading useless, and causing more paranoia than anything helpful. In other words... A TVOC sensor will go nuts if you take a shower - * Is taking a shower harmful to you? - NO. A TVOC sensor will go nuts if you light your favorite candle to add fragrance to your home - * Is a candle burning (enjoying your favorite fragrance) harmful? - NO A TVOC sensor will go nuts as you are cooking breakfast to enjoy with your family and friends - * Is cooking breakfast or dinner suddenly harmful? - NO ETC., ETC., ETC.... There are a few VOC's that are harmful - but again - a TVOC sensor or VOC sensor will not tell you exactly what it is detecting, so you have no idea that what the sensor is detecting is or is not harmful, so causing paranoia with no explanation - making it pointless. HCHO (Formaldehyde) is in the trees in the forest, and why a HCHO sensor will go nuts around construction sites, remodeling your home, putting together a piece of furniture you buy at your favorite box store, folding or cutting paper, making your bed, vacuuming the carpet, sweeping the kitchen floor, changing your clothes etc., etc., etc... HCHO is in everything from wood to paper to clothing to pens, pencils, toothpicks, coffee cups, shoes, wallets, and the list goes on and on. Unless you have stored HCHO in liquid form in your home, there is again, no use in my opinion to have a HCHO sensor, as it will just cause paranoia - just open a window from time to time to keep the air fresh. The only use I can see for having a HCHO or TVOC sensor, is to know when you should open a window - and honestly do we really need a sensor to tell us that we should open a window? - NO In my opinion there are only two sensors that everyone should have in their homes for safety from life threatening gases, and those two sensors are - CO and CO2 period. CO and CO2 are both odorless and colorless gases, so we have no idea they are present until it is too late. Hydrogen is another gas that is deadly, and that is given off while charging lead acid batteries, and will have the same symptoms as CO, and as a matter of fact, Hydrogen is so very close to being CO that it nearly is CO, and why the symptoms of over exposure to it is so similar to CO. CO2 is part of the universe, and it is all around us all the time - 24/7/365... We exhale CO2 with every breath, and why wearing a mask for too long of a period can and will cause a person to faint or have a heart attack. Being in your car with a lot of people with windows closed can cause the people inside especially the driver to loose consciousness. Using AC in your car on MAX mode is a very dangerous habit as it doesn't allow fresh air inside, also causing the loss of consciousness if too many people are in the car with you exhausting CO2 with every breath. Humans exhale more than 50,000 ppm of CO2 with each exhale, and that will add up very quickly in a closed space with a lot of people (I talk about this in at least one of my videos). AQI numbers are also pointless as they are based on your local town that you live, and why the numbers inside your home will more than likely never match what the AQI number is in your local area. AQI numbers are also based on the monitor that you have as the number is calculated by the number of sensors inside. A monitor with only two sensors will have a much different AQI than a monitor that has 6 sensors inside... A monitor that has an AQI number that more closely represents what the local AQI number is, it is because that monitor connects to the internet to give you that data and more than likely has nothing to do with the sensors inside your device. The reason that CO2 is very important to know is because outside there is a vast area for CO2 to dissipate into the air (world). Inside your home, the CO2 is not as lucky, as it only has the area inside your walls to dissipate itself, and if your windows are all closed, the CO2 cannot escape, causing the number to go higher and higher. Normal CO2 levels in your home are from 600 to 800ppm. Some companies say up to 1000ppm, but I don't like that high of a number for any length of time. 600 to 800ppm is fine to be in, but anything above that, you should open a window, and that number will quickly go down. If you are having an issue with CO, you will know because the number will go from 0 to 2 or above... Normal CO monitor levels will be 0 or 1 and right back to 0. If CO goes to 2 or higher and stays there for a few moments, something is wrong and should be looked into immediately. CO is very very dangerous (I know, because I was poisoned by CO), and I nearly died from exposure, so why knowing CO and CO2 is so important to me, which is why I created most of my videos. I know this is a lot of information to take in, but I am hopeful that something that I have said has helped, and answered your question/s. Thank you for your question and thoughts, they are very much appreciated.

    Oops... I fell for it. What confuses me is that it goes all the way up sometimes, and there is no alcohol in the area. So what is the budget air quality meter?

    • @Outside-In.
      @Outside-In. Місяць тому

      Cologne will make the reading go high, getting out of the shower and walking by the monitor will also make the reading go high, if someone is drinking alcohol, and breathing next to it it will go high, also I believe that it is affected by other readings as well, so why that it seems random - making it appear to be legitimate when it is not. As far as low budget meters... I am not sure there are any. By that I mean - all of my budget meters have either quit working or no longer are consistent even with re-calibration. So I would venture to say that a quality monitor is going to be in the 100's of dollars range, and even some of those don't last more than a few weeks or months, so your guess is just as good as mine unfortunately. The two most important readings to know is CO and CO2, so I would forget about any monitor except for those two, and I believe that paying a bit more for a better quality meter is the best. CO is the most important, CO2 is second most important. CO2 and CO meters can be expensive, but CO is the least expensive of the two. The Smart Sensor CO and CO2 meters that I use are what I recommend. CO2 sensors are expensive, and maybe it is because they are harder to make or harder to come by the materials to produce, not sure. Hotkrem was my favorite low budget monitor until I found out that some work, some don't, and some work for only a couple days or weeks, so I can't even recommend Hotkrem any longer, I have simply ran out of monitors that I can recommend - except of course Smart Sensor CO and CO2 meters. I am sure there are other CO and CO2 meters that are just as good as Smart Sensor, but I simply cannot afford to buy them - way too expensive LOL. I know this information probably doesn't help that much and I am sorry about that, but that is what I am finding out after all the tests that I have done...

    Have you checked out the qingping sensors before? Would be cool to compare and see if they are reliable given the price

      I have not been able to purchase the qingping monitor. I have contacted several companies, but no one wants to send a monitor for me to review, and I can't afford to buy these any longer - too expensive. Sorry I don't have better information, but as Outside In gets more subscribers, the more likely companies will be to send products for me to review and test for them. Thanks for your comment and suggestion - much appreciated. 👍👍

    For a channel this small, this was a very extensive review. This covered more stuff than I expected, thank you!

    Pues acabo de ver el video y me dió curiosidad la parte del silicón en el resorte, y sólo lubricando la parte angosta cerca de la cruz, y en efecto el estaño no se pegó al resorte, eso evita tener que usar un cautín para limpiar el resorte.🤔

      Thank you for the comment. I actually am not using the silicone any more as it sticks too much to the spring, but it may be because of the what the Yihua spring is made of. I was told that the Hakko springs are much better for solder not sticking to them, and you can get them on Amazon. The Hakko springs are the same as the Yihua springs only made of different (and I guess better) materials. I haven't tried the Hakko springs yet, but I am going to be purchasing those to give it a try. I have to quit putting this off and go ahead and get the Hakko springs to try it out LOL... I am including a link to the Hakko springs on Amazon (it is a pack of 10 springs), and if you get these, please let us know here how they work for you (if they are better than the Yihua spring). www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000E9VCXG/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_6?smid=A35X3GS59396Q6&psc=1

    I received the monitor today. I have been calibrating it outside. I started to use it inside my home. After 45 min, the TVOC, the HCHO and air pollution level keep going up. It feels like it has to run for a long time in order to get an accurate result. Does anyone have the same issue ?

      There are a lot of reasons that this would happen... Humidity in the Summer will effect TVOC and HCHO, Remodeling in your home, Remodeling at the neighbors house and your windows are open, making the bed, cleaning the house constantly, many people taking showers one after another, cooking all day etc., etc., etc.. Also when you first get a monitor, you need to give it at least a few days or a week to get settled into your environment for the readings to stabilize. Hope this helps, and thanks for the question.
