In regards to our volunteers ems medics fire departments I could forget my dad who was paid mucho well advanced medic volunteer also even in his travels family camping out of state his village if he saw something he would stop and aid total strangers I did it while I was a scanner hunter salvage business see something call someone quick several times polize took them off streets to jail I never wanted awards ceremonies I just cared besides the police were watching out to help me when seen I could find businesshonesty is your best policy I had a reputation not making wrong calls even if not crime some volks thought I was loco no way we are all different once stupid thieves stole right in front of thanks to my quick actions all they got was a trip to jail in the days when you did crime you were sorry if caught now what is our society becoming all screwed up who now can trust our crooked policians lawyers catch and release mucho arrests knives guns our open boarder guns drugs killing by mass shooters nearly 365 days yearly back in my school days 1952 to 1964 this was so rarely seen or heard of a real shame we all donot get along for who wears what fashions does what employment jobs to earn dinero mucho hipocrites judgemental volks who who at times some not knowing all the facts first just their big mouths remember this loco mixed up world society is all kinds of volks the good bad or ugly

Your volunteers I have said a few times past are neighbors helping neighbors because they care want to help out in their communities where they live 24 hours a day 365 a year please do all you could to support them as I always did see a mess snow by fire hydrants or else keep them clean every second counts donot drive in their way pullover it could your family as I had or damage to your home storms to these volks they care no matter what they answer the calls auto crashes fires heavy rescues on a moments notice donot put trash or your recyables near fire hydrants as I have seen make sure your Adress number is easily seen or as I once did sent alarm near engine co station walked across the street told driver to call on radio only your engine go right down street small fire on railroad tracks so all units were not responding when not needed show you care remember if it were paid taxes go up less volks on duty also volks get wrong ideas that they join to drink social yes in a way tho mainly to help their communities and residents gracias have a nice day besides it does not take mucho to do our share and care

Another video of the New York fire department just likes putting on the lights & don't really care if the person dies or the fire burns to the ground. I've seen volunteers Respond faster.

Where are they exactly in Manhattan? My son and I want to go back to New York to see more of it. We were there in November of 2019 with the marching band him and my daughter were for the veterans day parade, but we didn't get to see alot of new york.

So for anybody saying it's too slow of a response, the FDNY is the biggest fire department in the U.S, if they are not first or 2nd or even 3rd due, no need to hurry. Espacially if the situation or box they are going to is under control. The reason they got em' out to the box is as backup probably. For me tho, this was a good response time if they weren't the first unit on scene. Basically in a town all units hurry because there are probably 2 or 3 engines avaliable to get a situation under control. Here a dispatcher dispatches about 3 or 4 engines, 2 ladders, 1 rescue, 1 squad and 1 battalion chief to a 1st alarm or 2nd alarm fire. So when you are the 4th engine responding, you know it musst be under control. And if they just have been called for assist, and dispatcher wrote in: under control, boy no need to hurry.
