I am a taxpayer of Rankin County Mr. Slay and feel slighted by your remarks.

Perhaps the BOS should sue Mr. Berg.

Mr. Slay, you were extremely rude to Mr. Manning. I am outraged you, a public servant, would treat a taxpayer [who contributes to your salary] in the disrespectful manner in which you acted. Every homeowner in Hidden Hills is a taxpayer and Rankin County approved Mr. Berg’s platt plan.

I support this request and I hope the Board of Supervisors will take this under serious consideration. Thank you for speaking up, Dr. Harvey!

Leave all of our monuments alone. Do not tear down history rather discuss it and understand what took place so it will not be forgotten. These current movements to take all our history and remove any figures from it that someone deems unfit for any reason will do nothing to improve our country or communities. The current BLM movement is run by devoted Marxist and is using racism as a springboard to inject Marxism into our way of life and the way we rule this nation. All you have to do is look the leader's names and you will find a mountain of evidence to prove they are true Marxists. You can find videos of them speaking about their Marxist beliefs. I don't know any of the black citizens of our county that are Marxist. Many of our black population has served this nation in the military and fought in wars for this country and against Marxist and socialist ideology.

Leave the WWI monument alone. It has nothing to do with slavery at all!
