Campside Za'atar Tacos!
Lavash the Book's Ara Zada recently took a few friends bow hunting for deer in California's Sierra Nevada. Although they didn't get the hunting outcome they were looking for, they sure did eat well. Ara set up his campsite kitchen, and wowed everyone with his quick and delicious Za'atar Tacos. It's his mash-up on his Armenian/Egyptian heritage and SoCal roots. Give this recipe a shot!

Hi Elizabeth! Im Egyptian Armenian. Chikuta is more of a Western Armenian dish. There are several restaurants in Yerevan where you can buy it but they are more at the Syrian Armenian restaurants. This market is in LA. Most Armenian markets in LA sell chikufta meat!

@@1000meals My dad would prepare armenian food by remembering how his mother did it. His Chikufta was amazing. He would prepare a salsa similar to taboulleh to dip the meat in. Our diaspora (family) ended up in Sth AmericaI but I think our ancestors were from Van. I think that's in Western Armenia.

Çiğ Köfte belongs to the Kurds who do not belong to the Armenians, your information is wrong, because we live in the same geography, it is normal for you to love and support them, but they do not belong to the Armenians.
