Three years ago, a band of volunteers in Bend, Oregon got together to serve complete strangers. We began in 2008 in La Pine, Oregon, shoveling snow, chopping wood, cleaning houses. On March 13th, Redmond community members and organizations came together for a day of serving in Redmond, Oregon. Over 250 volunteers met at 9am at Redmond High School before dispersing throughout the city.
