Drowned in the cyclone, will this pump run again?
Getting a petrol water pump running after it was drowned in cyclone Gabrielle back in February. Tried to do some more action shots but having difficulty setting the camera position, the carb section is pretty bad, sorry.

Load test on the Rootes Lister Genset after a lot of light load running (10A or less) I have a load bank to do a full load test on the TS3, buring all the build up out of the mufflers.

absolutley brilliant, well done for your perseverance, not many would have taken the time.
Cheers, its actually quite a tidy tractor under it all so had to be saved.
Great Job . Hats off to all you guys who have worked so hard towards the recovery. Still much to do though no doubt.

Very nice running 6-cylinder Lister. I have a Lister HA 4 ex NZ Post.
I used to have a HA2 genset, ex post office.
Nice running genset. Didn't know that Lister made 2 stroke engines.
They are made by rootes group, marketed by lister for industrial and marine purposes.
Great work to get that engine going. Watching this from Titirangi, West Auckland.

Nice work man. Some people would have declared this a total loss. But it runs again.
Commercially it wouldnt have been viable but if you do the work yourself it only costs some time.
Amazing, this was a real challenge compared to usual “Will it run?” Videos..good job !

I had the same thing happen to my pump, we had an ice jam and water and ice come over the river bank and flooded out everything. Same engine but the pump was a bit different, it came back to running again, the snowblower got crushed by ice but the engine survived.
Great work, seems you covered all the bases , credit to you for being so thorough.

Yeah it was definetly quite the flood!! Infrastructure repair to roads and bridges will take years. Farms and horticulutre much the same

This was in swamp road. Managed to get the ride on, mower, water blaster and chipper going too that were in the same shed
